Iowa State is looking like a bunch of spoiled whiny entitled losers. Id be embarrassed to be a fan or a student after this mess. Bad calls happen in every game to every team. Suck it up, you still had a chance in overtime to win and couldn't get it done.

"Even golfer Zach Johnson, an Iowa native, took notice of the call. Johnson wrote on Twitter: "What a horrible no call in the ISU/KU game. Refs blew this game in regulation. What is up with the officials this year? Terrible!"

ISU does attempt 26 3s per game and have hit 37% for the season (41% tonight), so defending their offense isn't just an issue for Kansas. Considering they swept Iowa State, regardless of how miraculous it was, I'll still take concentrating on being the #1 FG% team in the country and forcing other teams to win by shooting 3s. The only 3s that really annoy me are the ones they give up when the opponent is standing a couple of steps behind the arc and the defender simply lets him shoot it from there... and that happened at least a few times late. WTF do you think he's going to do? ![]()

I liked Bobby for the first few years...Pretty objective and obviously knows his shit. His senility got the better of him in the last few years. He is still doing games...did the UK vs. Vanderblit game a few weeks back...just not doing as many as he use to do.

So ISU ended up with seven more free throws despite the fact that their entire offense was based around perimeter jump shots (41 threes and a ton more 2PT jumpers). Yep...they really got screwed out of this one.

There's no need to get overly-defensive about this. Sometimes the refs inexplicably blow a game-changing call that hands the game over to our team. It happens. I just looked at that last call, I assumed it was a block, but no, incredibly, the refs made TWO stupid errors on that last call. First, was the no-call. Second, the "foul" they called was for grabbing at the KU player on the ground which is completely ridiculous, fouls don't get called for that kind of a scramble for the ball. If the refs were going to swallow the whistle, they should have completely swallowed it.
