How much of a (n intellectual property) pirate are you?

This is a spinoff of a thread in the media center, but I hope you'll indulge me and let it hang out here for a bit.

I'm just curious to see how the plethora of legal options to obtain movies, TV, and music has impacted piracy.

The basic idea is - do you obtain media for use in your home legally, or do you pirate it?

Poll on the way.

I rip an occasional movie and share music with friends...other than that I'm pretty legal.

Anyway...define "pirated"... Does watching a game on first row or similar sites qualify?

IMO I'm so clean, I don't think I can even vote in the poll. And if I've slipped up unintentionally it's only because you guys made me.

Pirating music is way too easy. I'll buy something if I can't find it on what.cd or waffles.fm.

Really, pirating most things is easy. I guess my interest in the poll is that I've personally cut WAY down on my own pirating efforts due to all of the legitimate streaming options out there these days.

I don't pirate software. That just seems different somehow. Don't ask me why, because I can't explain it.
Thinking that you pirating movies/tv shows is ok but me using my neighbor's wifi connection without their knowledge is douche behavior.

This. The way you combat piracy is offering a better service than the pirates do. Whether that be easier access or more features.

As someone who likes to actually see royalties for my work, I would be a hell of a hypocrite to pirate other people's work.
