Pictures Elvis Avengers Calendar

So I usually get a Chiefs calendar to hang on my wall at work ….but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it this year. Just….too depressing. I didn’t want to wait for a Michigan calendar to come in the mail so I just bought something I thought I could live with…. I bought an Avengers calendar.

I couldn’t live with it….

It began innocently enough when I got sick of Capn ‘Merka staring at me the first few weeks of January. I grabbed an Elvis mask off my wall (it’s from the 2003 99.7 KY Elvis Parade..…remember the Elvis parade? It was awesome!)…so I photo copied it and viola. Capn Elvis.

February came along and I got a little more creative. You can see the arrow thru Hawkeyse face. That took an extra 30 seconds or so!

But then…..MARCH came, and I was like….CHAKA KAHN! It’s time to bust a move! And I did.
My skills improved so dramatically for the March edition that I felt I MUST share my talents with everyone! I mean, it’s not like I’m posting a horrendous chest spanning Chiefs tattoo! THIS…is ART!

For March I ditched the primitive scotch tape and used the more sophisticated Elmers Glue! I posted TWO pics of the March calendar so you can see the detail on the smaller folk.
From top to bottom they were originally Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain ‘Merka, Iron Man….and of course the Hulk.
Elvis Hulk is friggin awesome and clearly visible in first March pic. In the second one….yes that is Marilyn….couldn’t make Elvis have boobs! Notice the metal Elvis for Iron Man. I crack me up.

Dear Mr. and/or Mrs. O'tank,
Your son Frank has successfully completed the skills of third grade art and will be moving to the fourth grade with his peers. His mastery of stubby dull scissors, cutting out faces and white glue were the envy of the class. Next up: paper mache and paper clip, rubber band and construction paper mobiles.

A proud day for the O'tanks, indeed! Erin Go Bragh!

Sometimes it's enough just to have someone pay attention to you. I sometimes spill my glass in restaurants just so people will look at me.
