Eagles lose scout Brett Veach to Chiefs

Geoff Mosher ‏@GeoffMosherCSN

Big loss for #Eagles scouting department during pivotal time for personnel people. Brett Veach, who covers Southeast, has defected to KC.

Reuben Frank ‏@RoobCSN

So Brett Veach, who had crucial SEC scouting duties, rejoins Andy in KC. Veach recommended DeSean, among others. Big loss for Eagles.

Thought I'd pass along the info.

I think he was just teasing me and I overreacted.

I've also been drinking, so who knows.

surprising timing like others have said. Doesn't look like he has been scouting for long. Will be interested in his title in KC. Wouldn't think it would be much higher than a area or regional scout but who knows

yeah it's a double edged sword

I totally agree that is ridiculous for anyone on this board to suggest they are more qualified than EVEN Scott *****...

BUT

It's also ridiculous for people to say 'can't question that because he's more qualified!!!'

It's a message board. Opinions are what drives this forum.

I won't make the same mistake I made with ***** 4 years ago where I told everyone "executive of the decade" blah blah blah

no more regimes get a free pass...if you don't like the movie, say it...everyone is entitled to their own opinion

BUT YES

It is ridiculous when people like BossChief claim that he and 4 others could run an NFL team and run a sports radio show

Honestly, there would probably be a lot more viable and insightful discussion related to football.

However, very few calls would be answered without "JFC, you're a moron". I know that I would probably lose my cool after 2+ months of people calling saying "Draft Te'o #1" or "Trade 1.1 for Revis".

I can't speak for anyone else here but if I were on a radio program in KC, I'd have literally nothing of value to contribute about the Royals or any other sports. "Uhh...well, the Royals aren't very good. ****. I don't know anything about baseball so I'm going to take a break until you bring up football again".

^^^That's what Sorter on a radio station would be like if he had to talk about other sports in KC.
