Patteeu, you have got to see this!!

A new film coming out by a guy named R.J. Cutler..."The world according to Dick Cheney".

A fascinating documentary, seriously, love him or hate him its going to be good. I actually loved the guy at one time, wanted him to be President over George. My opinion of him changed dramatically over the years. I cant wait to see it.

Not a palin fan but to be fair she really didn't say that

During that appearance, interviewer Charles Gibson asked her what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, and she responded: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska":

I always just assumed that if she said she could see Russia from her backyard that it was just a figure of speech. Kinda like "I can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Russian."

To die the hard partisans it doesn't matter if it's true or not. Once it is spoken by their religious leaders it becomes dogma.

The relevance of the statement was that she was using it to brag about her foreign policy credentials.

It goes without saying that governors from border states have more reason to be involved in international issues than governors from interior states. Her state is the only one that effectively borders two different countries.

Most governors don't have a lot of foreign policy experience, but you wouldn't have any problem with it if the governor of California touted his experience dealing with cross border issues with Mexico.

Of course it wouldn't be a problem. The Governor of California is a Democrat.

A Hannity-esque response. CA, AZ, NM, TX ACTUALLY share a border--a border with people and activity (a lot in some places), and issues that arise from it. Alaska/Russia have desolate and sparsely-populated areas seperated by an ocean. She wasn't involved in international issues, and it was a dumb statement. Her "sin" wasn't a lack of international experience--it was implying that proximity somehow gave her that experience.

I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean. Someone blamed Palin's idiocy on the media. I don't see anyone blaming the media for the stuff Biden said.

From that short video clip the interviewer made this implication with his question. If anything, her mistake was going along with the implication in her typical homespun manner.

Speaking of Sarah Palin...WTF?

She was a total MILF and now she's turning herself into some kind of Los Vegas lot lizard.
