He was a blocking guy, but after he lost weight, I thought he ran pretty well. I remember one really athletic play he made on a terrible ball Cassel threw. He still didn't get within 5 feet of the pass, it was that bad, but I surprised by the athleticism he showed.

Maneri had quietly become one of my favorite Chiefs. It seems he did what he was asked to do and those away-from-the-body catches did remind me a bit of Gonzo. I wish he would have stayed.
