Obamacare in English?

Explain it to me like I'm four years old.

I'm sitting here making decisions on health care coverage knowing that it's all changing in 10 months. What exactly do I have to look forward to? I know that younger people will be paying more. Is 37 (which is how old I will be at that time) considered young?

HELP!

true story, though I do not use their coverage because Tricare Prime was much better coverage for (of course) cheaper. Now, as of Oct 1st, that changes since the Congress changed Tricare Prime for veterans who do not live within 40 miles of an active military base. My Tricare annual fee is going up by 300%, and I will have to pay 25% of ANY medical care. F this Congress! I may switch to my company's coverage until they dispose of it...

I'm in the same boat, but my company's plan is still more expensive.

Maybe we should just die to save the gov't money. They obviously don't give a crap about their veterans. Wait until they start reducing our retirement....Did you see that story of how outstanding VA claims have jumped from 300,000 to almost a million since 2009? Absolutely ludicrous

They were never as high as they've become under Obamacare. Also a true story.

Empirical or anecdotal? I would assume the latter.

Of course, you can drop your insurance, pay the 2500/year "TAX", and then just sign up for the free care if you get sick option. Oh, I was roundly ridiculed for stating this a year ago. Laugh now bitches.
