Well, since we're resurrecting this thread, then - no. No, they don't, which (besides the fact that it s***s all over a classic comic strip) is the ridiculousness of cartoon. I have not heard of anyone wanting to ban smoking, for example, just limit it from public places because the smoke intrudes on other people. Bloomberg's attempt to ban large sodas from New York City was one guy's idea and hardly indicative of progressive ideals in general. No one but the fringiest of the fringe are trying to ban guns altogether, and they won't even come close to succeeding. The phase-out of incandescent light bulbs is not only bipartisan (Schwarzenegger signed the California version) but global. The coal I'll grant you, because ripping down the forest and dynamiting the tops off of mountains isn't good for the planet. And the idea that progressives are less willing to honor God than conservatives is supremely narrow-minded and idiotic.

To say this cartoon is slanted is to understate it. It is deliberately inflammatory and blatantly misleading and should be laughed out of existence, even by conservatives.

The only thing they like about smoking is the taxes. If they could ban it they would ABSOLUTELY...'cause it's not good for you and they know what's good for you.

Bloomberg's attempt to ban large sodas from New York City was one guy's idea and hardly indicative of progressive ideals in general.
AGAIN, more of the "We know what's good for you and if we can't get you to play along, we'll legislate it.

No one but the fringiest of the fringe are trying to ban guns altogether, and they won't even come close to succeeding.
Jeez, do you even know any liberals? Seen the onslaught since Sandy Hook? Succeed or not, most would love to ban them for the average American.

The phase-out of incandescent light bulbs is not only bipartisan (Schwarzenegger signed the California version) but global.
Bi-Partisan or not, it was still a liberal brainwashing.

Just ask anyone in your church.

Would you like to ban it???

fan4ever basically did what I was going to do, except much nicer, so there's really no need to repeat it, except to add that Aries Walker is perhaps the most disingenuous piece of liberal shit that posts here. And that's saying something.

Yeah, nobody wants to **** with smokers, or take our guns. Just a figment of my imagination.

I know BRC annoys the crap out of people, but I like him. We've met a couple of times in real life.

But we don't discuss politics when we meet in real life.
