Happy Friday I found out I am a racist the other day.

I was having a discussion comparing the recession Reagan inherited as compared to this one and, generally annoying the “ this is by far the worst economic mess since the Great Depression folks”. Essentially pointing out that unemployment and inflation were worse when Ronny started and the following ensued…

From me…
“Now if you want to point out that the recovery in this one is far flatter and more drawn out the numbers will support you however; you are just supporting the argument that Keynesian Economics is not the answer to the problem. “

To which I received a response of…

"Keynesian" economics, there it is! If you wait long enough, you are bound to see the race reference pop up in the cons comments!”

LOL if I have ever disrespected the average IQ of this maddening DC section, I apologize.

We were hours away from an economic meltdown that would have collapsed the whole ****ing thing on everyones head. The housing collapse, the credit lockdown were way worse that just inflation that Regan inherited.

I know Reagan is your guys hero but this is not apples to apples anyway. Just couldn't resist a chance to the R's on here.
We were hours away from a banking meltdown during the Bush administration. GWBush and his economic team saved us from that. Obama inherited the solution, not the problem.

Stick with the talking points pal. It's all Bush's fault. Obama saved the day.

There are of course numerous factors in judging the health or lack thereof when looking at an economy but, two huge factors that are always near the top are unemployment and what is going on with the cost of Living. The unemployment rates were even worse and inflation was what not merely as bad but more like 5 or 6 times worse. It makes for a reasonable counterpoint to this is the “ WORST ECONOMY SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION” indisputable facts. Are there other considerations? Of course plenty of them.

How would anyone who just found out they were white take the news? I mean, I'm not saying whites are better than blacks, but it's CLEARLY better to be white. If being white were an option, I'd re-up every year. /Louis CK

I found out yesterday that I was racist because I remember where I was when JFK was shot, but not when MLK was shot.

Not sure if that makes you racist, but your unknown whereabouts on that day does sound kind of suspicious.
