A Colorado Sheriff Responds To President Obama

This is ****ing great.

This dude brings thunder. What a noble statesmen this guy is...

Video Description:
President Obama visited Denver on April 3, 2013 to push his excessive gun legislation. Not one sheriff in the state of Colorado was included in the event. The sheriffs of Colorado representing 62 counties were kept out of the event because their legislative needs were not useful to the president.

Obama's purposeful shunning of the state sheriffs could not silence them. Listen as Sheriff Shayne Heap from Elbert County Colorado responds to the president's comments.

I'm genuinely suprised to see a mayoral candidate would say such things in Omaha of all places.

The only thing I can say to the people who want to help politicians take other peoples guns away, you should stop doing that and start arming yourself and taking steps to protect your families in the inevitable WROL.

You say it can't happen here, but you are wrong, it will.

The wise will learn from others:

See Crappy, I actually agree with you and others when it comes to "gun control". The government is off their collective rockers if they honestly and truly think taking guns away from the populace will eliminate the threat of future gun violence. All that will do will spawn a metric ****laod of future criminals that acquire firearms illegally.

Where you lose me is when the discussion turns to the government turning on its own people, essentially invading its own cities and proclaiming some kind of martial law, or whatever. The logistics alone would be impossible, not to mention how it would absolutely cripple this country. We'd be open to every type of attack you could think of -physical, fiscal, cyber, whatever. Surely if there ARE people in positions of power that could make this happen, they see the consequences, right? It's futile, any way you cut it the way I see it. Conquer your people, get invaded. Take you eye off those enemies that would do us harm, be destroyed.

Am I naive? What am I missing?

The sheer amount of regulation coming out of D.C. is cause for concern, period. As D.C. continues the game of "us vs. them" while all of the players are insulated from the results of their game regardless of outcome, you are going to see more and more how the government will take over this country.

Just look at very recent history....

if the government isn't flat out taking control of parts of the economy they are regulating the other parts to justify doing so at a later date

It is futile, for many reasons. But how many times over the course of history has such futility actually stopped tyrants from being tyrants?

You, and many others, are attempting to apply logical reasoning to people who are neither logical nor reasonable. The desire and will to own and/or control someone else is not the sign of a healthy mind. Hitler was crazy as a **** house rat. Mao, nuts. Stalin, like wise. Castro, like wise. Are you seeing a pattern here? You need to quit thinking of people who have already shown themselves to be greedy liars, crooks and degenerates the same as you and me. Try thinking of them a little more so like these whackos who go on shooting rampages. People who are crazy and do crazy things.

We as Americans are unique but, we are still humans like all the other peoples of the world. We are just as prone to have tyrants among us as any other culture. To think that it could not happen here is, believe it or not, a much bigger and harder to believe conspiracy theory than believing it could.

Just because this country was born out of resistance to oppression does not mean it is exempt from it for all of eternity.

The United States has a national debt it cannot repay. It's mathematically impossible. Agree?

Every month, the federal reserve prints up $85 billion dollars to keep the potemkin village going.

How soon before it goes, and what do you think happens then?

That's right, and we will be once we hit critical mass (the point when non-producers outnumber producers).

Our federal government has seen this disaster coming for thirty years, now. Consequences? They think they can kick that can down the road some more.

You see, you seem to think I'm imagining this volitile world where our own government would intentionally destroy our economy, and you think that's crazy because you can't see the motive in it.

But the government already has intentionally destroyed our economy. You are sitting there asking yourself "why would somebody do that" but it's already been done.

I guess common sense isn't allowed when dealing with the governement.

I get everything you're saying RH, but I guess my question to those that would be tyrants is what would be the end result? A shattered, broken country, just a shadow of its former glory?

They do live in another world than I do, that is absolutely for sure.

Just take a look around you and ask yourself, are we really that far from riots in the streets?

A communist utopia.

You see, you keep thinking "thats crazy" and you're right. It is crazy. But that's exactly what communists believe. And Obama is a communist. he was born and raised by communists, he even sought them out in his adult life. He hates Poland, he hates Catholics, because they were the catalyst that inevitably brought down the dream--- the Soviet Union.

Barry really believes all that shit.

Call me all the names you want, it won't stop me from speaking the truth while I still can or even after they come for me to silence me. I will never give up my God given rights even staring down the barrel of a gun.

When President Obama called us bitter clingers to religion and guns, he was deriding America's most significant freedoms of worship and armed self-protection.

My honest answer Pete? I don't see people this >< close to just snapping and going after the first government vehicle they see. I don't think it is anywhere near that, actually. I think it IS a concern, and a growing one, but I'm not seeing anyone gearing up to storm the castle.

Maybe I just run in the wrong circles, I don't know?

You see you keep assuming the riots will be to attack the government. No, the mobs will be going after private property.

Just take a look at what is going on, it's closing in from all sides and the one group of people seemingly immune to it all are the one's make the rules.
