Ninja Turtles

Glad it's not fully CGI like TNMT this time and Megan Fox is going to be in it.

I'm excited are you? I'm baffled that there's no thread on this awesome development.

Yeah, the first film in the 90s was pretty damn serious. The turtles cursed, Splinter got kidnapped and the shit beat out of him, Raph was on the verge of death, etc..

The Secret of the Ooze was straight up cheese but still good, in my opinion. I actually watched it somewhat recently and enjoyed it.

The third one was just shit.

I am hoping..

And I actually like the look of the turtles.. Seems closer to the comics for how they are drawn.. And I like teh added touches on donatello.. It separates them, now they do not look like just different colored masked turtles..

Well in reality he's just producing it. So just as Man of Steel couldn't be pinned on Christopher Nolan as much as Zack Snyder, we should probably pin more blame if this is bad on the Director instead of Bay........In theory......

How does that 'ruin your childhood?'

I don't think Bay has had any of the things you watched as a kid destroyed.

Rob Zombie made a shitty Halloween movie, but that doesn't detract from the original in the slightest.

Just don't watch it.

Michael Bay is an american treasure. He makes billions giving Americans exactly what they want... 'splosions and borderline jailbait running around in very little clothing.

It's like blaming the fire department for fires. He's giving people what they want. People will talk all day about how much he sucks while they hand their hard earned money over to watch the shit he makes.

I won't see his movies, but I don't blame Bay for that. There's clearly a HUGE market for what he's doing.

Ninja Turtles

I love his work.

Bad Boys II, the Transformers trilogy, Armageddon, and he even directed the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake with Jessica Biel.
