Pro-gun celebrities

So, the media makes it very clear who is anti-gun. They make it seem that our “heroes” are all against firearms and we should follow suit. So, which celebrities are bucking the fashionable thing to do and supporting gun owners? Which past celebrities supported gun ownership? Some names surprised me. Feel free to add more.

Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Brad Pitt, Anjelina Jolie, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Miranda Lambert, Donald Trump, Eric Clapton, James Earl Jones, Christian Slater, Clint Eastwood, Whoopi Goldberg, Howard Stern, Ted Nugent, Marc Anthony, Johnny Depp, Robert Deniro, Tom Selleck, Lou Ferigno, Karl Malone, Big Boi (Outkast), James Harrison (NFL), Jeff Foxworthy, Charles Barkley, Mike Royko (Chicago Tribune), Ice-T, Joe Montegna, Steven Segal, Chuck Woolery, Penn Gillette and Raymond Teller, Gretchen Wilson, Charlie Daniels, Gerald McRaney, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Roger Mosely, George Orwell, James Hetfield (Metallica

“If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it is reasonable to shoot back with your own gun”-Dalai Lama

“Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest”-Mohandas Ghandi

“As we have seen, the first public expression of disenchantment with nonviolence arose around the question of “self-defense.” In a sense this is a false issue, for the right to defend one’s home and one’s person when attacked has been guaranteed through the ages by common law.” –Martin Luther King

"Anti-gun" and "supporting gun owners" are pretty meaningless terms. There's a whole middle ground that I would bet most of the people on the list, and people in general, would fall into.

That's funny that the video shows a famous actor speaking out about gun control, and then shows him shooting a gun in a movie that he was in.

Because the fictional character he was portraying had a gun in a fictional movie.

I suppose Anthony Hopkins actually eats people and Tom Hanks is actually retarded.

Hypocrites, the lot of them.

The list I put together, minus Ghandi, MLK, and Dalai Lama, are mostly people who are members of the NRA, have spoken against new gun laws, have more guns than Bwana, or are CCW carriers. IMO, that doesn't put them in the middle ground category.

Middle grounders, IMO, would be someone that has a gun, but could give it up if asked to. Or maybe someone who is not sure where they stand on the topic or has no opinion. I'm sure there's a ton of celebrities and common people in that category.

David Spade might fall into that category. A few years ago he bought 300+ rifles....and donated them to law enforcement.

It's still in the truck. I've been busy putting in offer after offer on a house. Hopefully, my dad gets back soon and reloads for me.

Saw that. I jinxed us by talking about ATVing real soon. And, of course, I have to work in Blgs again Monday in bad weather.

The 850 goes into Polaris for a tune up tomorrow. As long as the weather is going to turn to shit, I guess now is a good time. Saturday I'm taking apart the 500 to replace the fuel pump and install a new float. Kirk is coming over to help, so I'm sure there will be a beer or two involved with that little project.

I'd be willing to bet 99% of country singers are pro-gun.

Also, Anthony Cumia of the Opie and Anthony Show since Howard Stern was mentioned.
