What era do Democrats look back to as the "Golden Age"?

Yes, and they want another one, so they can get their hooks into everything again.

Props to a commentator over at Human Events for inspiration.

Bush had a warm and friendly personality. Obama is considered cold and aloof even by some of his own associates. Oh, and Bush was pro-American.

That's pretty much Thatguy's problem. He thinks criticism of Bush is reasonable, but any criticism of Obama is bigotry. It's idiotic.

Never said they were bigots. There is a difference between not liking policies and questioning a man's citizenship, grades and patriotism. I take no issue with people who dislike Obama's policies. I told my liberal friends who said horrible things about W and his family the same things.

Publicly, though, Obama is considered personable. More so than Mitt. A lot of people vote with their guts based on such perceptions over issues.

Quit posting, seriously. Insults have to be funny, or else they're just annoying to everyone who has to wade thru them. Shoot yourself in the face for me, will you?

FWIW, I don't question his citizenship.

I was responding to your distinction between policy and personality. Bush had a better personality than Obama.

Basically all you ever do is post, "bunch of right wing bigots." What do you mean you never said it? It's pretty much all you do. It's not like you differentiate by poster. You just use it as a blanket criticism, which basically paints anyone that disagrees with Obama a bigot.

I can see through that type of fraudulence. Mitt Romney is a great guy, much like George W. Bush.

I'm not talking about what they are like inside. I talking how they come across and are perceived on the outside to the masses.
