Meanwhile, I still got and still get lots of positive rep. You guys are still outnumbered in the poll. Govt stooges.

This is one of the poorest worded polls in CP history I am sure. The answers are opposite, but the explanations for those answers are not. I didn't answer because only one choice even addressed the question posed, being as this is a subjective question. And since it is pretty established the fourth amendment isn't violated, the second option is just flat out wrong, even if someone wanted to say they would not feel comfortable with it. I would choose no if the explanation was subjective like the explanation for yes was.

Question was straightforward...unless you're a confused member of the sheeple.

If people were asked to please stay off the streets, and did so voluntarily, why wasn't asking to search their homes voluntarily not done?

No one has answered that question of mine. Not even question-demanding-bullies and hypocrites like Braniac and Mr. Tegu.

Seemed to me the people were cooperated and wanted to help. As for being asked to stay off the streets, apparently not everybody did from what I'm hear. It was their right, none of them were arrested or punished except were closely examined.

the precedent is set. The next time someone robs a 7/11, the cops just might go door to door telling them to get out of their homes while they search it because there is a bad guy around and they can't find him!

If there's one thing that a lot of cops love, that's using their power over other people.

The media is doing a great job to make the cops look like hero's while we parade them around. Some of them truly are heroes, no questioning that. But a lot of them are shitty people too. Remember that. But now with the media, everybody is like "never question a hero policeman, just lay down and do what they say! it's for our own good!"

Like cops will interpret things in order to convenience them. Like this asshole pig,

he said that cell phones can be turned into guns. The kid was smoking a cig on the sidewalk, that's illegal there. So while he's getting a ticket, he's filming and leaves in an ambulance.

It's not good. The media loves when this shit happens. More control over people's minds.
