One would think he'd come back to reality and accept a lesser contract then he originally wanted. He might not though and if he doesn't he'll be pissed if he's not playing LT. It'll cost him money when he does sign a long term contract where ever that might be. I believe he'll lower his price and he'll sign though. Of course that's just a gut feeling. As far as what you "think" you know you might end being right but it's really no different then my gut feeling that he'll sign. End the end one of us will be right and one of us won't.

That's like the Broncos paying Manning elite QB money and then moving him to the bench. What the is the point? This is the issue with Albert, he's not going to sign the new long term contract unless he's making top dollar and kc is not going to give him top dollar because 1. he's not an elite LT to begin with and 2. they are gonna move him anyway.

No one will offer top dollar for Albert. The Dolphins tried to lowball for him, and they're pretty desperate. He's gonna have to take have less than he wants regardless where he goes.

I think he'll test the FA market before he signs a new contract with kc and it will only take one other team to pay him what he wants and keep him at LT.

I dont see why everyone wants Albert to move so badly. He was a 1st rounder too.
No matter what we are going to have a premium player at both Ts.
IIRC the nastiest pass rusher we will face, twice a year mind you, comes over the RT quite often.

I wouldn't call Albert a "premium" player. I would call him a good/solid player. Whereas, Fisher has a chance to be a one of the top players at his position.

I would.

Guys who are comparable to Duane Brown in pass protection are rare.

If that was a respectable list of pieces around Albert, his perception would be that of a top 5 OT IMO.

Brandon Albert the BPA with Joe Flacco on the board? Funny joke

Albert was not the BPA. He was a NEED at the time. The BPA was Flacco. Picked after him

The Chiefs, being the Chiefs passed over a franchise QB like they always do

Almost every team drafted for need this year. Cracked me up how everyone talked about BPA, but for the most part, all teams drafted for need.
