How many and/or who do you have on ignore?

I'm curious to see how many people use this feature and to what extent.

I've only really bumped heads with a few folks in all my time here, but I've never considered putting anyone on ignore. You'd miss out on part of the conversation. A conversation that you were obviously interested enough in to get in there and read....so IMO I don't think it makes much sense. And....just because you don't particularly care for someone doesn't mean they might not....at some point in time....possibly....say something meaningful!

So....waddaya got?

It's fairly useless, frankly. You end up seeing the ignored member's posts when they're quoted. The Firefox plugins worked great for blocking everything, but when I dumped Firefox because it was too twitchy that went away.

Oh I know, but if more people would use it, then less people would be responding with a quote.

Sadly, the kind of people you want to put on ignore are exactly the ones who get quoted a lot.

I've got one and I am thinking I may take him off.

I feel kind of bad ignoring the guy because he might actually be 100% retarded and that's not very nice of me to ignore a retard.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Sadly, the Ffvb plugin is no longer being updated or supported.

Back on topic: I've currently got 6 on ignore.
