Actually it was BinLaden that declared war in the 1990's by issuing a fatwa. Still, his AQ was a very small group at the time when Bush was in office. What's Obama's excuse since he killed bin Laden?

From my perspective, democrats didn't really put much effort into seeming patriotic for much more than a few weeks after 9/11.

Nothing to worry about. The communists and socialists are doing fine now.

Yes, Obama is just along for the ride. There are no bucks stopping in this administration.

Don't worry about it. I had a long time poster neg rep me for a blatantly obviously sarcastic comment, because he's just too stupid to get it. Your mistake was understandable. Shit happens.

It's not really fair to compare Obama to President Bush.

Bush was also a dumbass but he didn't load his cabinet with criminals and crooks and wasn't mentored by domestic terrorists. Obama is a dumbass on purpose.

What are you talking about? Bush took more than his share of responsibility. His administration was the complete opposite of Obama's in that respect. Bush was Trumanesque when it came taking responsibility. Obama is the guy who doesn't know what's going on when things go wrong but he's sure it's someone else's fault.

Bush was the decider. He took responsibility for the decisions made by his administration, often standing up and defending them even when they were immensely unpopular (e.g. the surge in Iraq).

Obama is the resider. He just lives there.
