While you are looking at phone records and emails....

It's over 800 pages, no one has read it, it's expensive, and it's full of dirty tricks to increase democrat voters. Deja vu all over again. The video is 20 minutes but well worth it.

We are being sold out by the senate. Rubio sucks balls. **** McCain. **** Graham.

Created equal does not mean they produce equally and they should never be paid equal. Slackers gonna slack.

That's not what that means. That's equality under the law and refers to the govt's actions—not a privately owned business or the market.

My first reaction to this is, Duh, just like every freaking immigrant who came to this country over the last 300 years. That is a great thing. It is want we want immigrants to do. Especially second and third generation. Why do you think they came?

My next thought is, it is absolutely false they do jobs Americans don't want to do. They do jobs at pay American's wont accept, in conditions anyone who isn't a second class citizen wouldn't accept. Do you know many Americans who would tolerate a 12 plus hour shift with no lunch or break? And if you don't think that happens, you don't know the Restaurant industry.

With minimal enforcement of companies who break laws to employ illegals, there is little stopping companies profiting off the current situation these companies helped create. And illegal worker means one who can be paid without taxes at a low rate, an employee who cannot complain about working conditions, and employee who does not cost insurance nor will ever take unemployment or sick pay.

Want to stop illegal immigration. Stop the demand by companies for illegal labor.

From current experience, the Hispanic staff working the crappy jobs at my crappy place of employment are all legal (Thanks to E-verify) and are first generation immigrants. Our Hispanic work force shrink with the passage of E-verify.

Also:
The bipartisan Senate "gang of eight" finally builds a barrier that immigrants won't be able to get past.

Immigrants today are not really the same as the ones in the past generally speaking or on average. Nope.
There wasn't much welfare in the past.

Illegals are given welfare? I guess if you count the ER.

And your point here is that immigrants who "work jobs we don't want" are going to become legal and stop working, or what?

Of course that counts and it's quite expensive. Then there's birth citizenship.

I tutored under NCLB for a private firm, who delivered tutoring with a US grant. Ninety percent of the children were Mexican. I happen to know one family was not here legally nor was the boy I tutored who came as a young child with the parents.

No, that's sounds like your own twist.

They also pay taxes, from sales tax to the gas tax to property tax, which pays for the majority of school funding.

It wasn't a twist, just a question.

Why does welfare come into the immigration debate?

They can't become citizens because they will move up the middle class AND the can't become citizens because of welfare. Got it.

/YOU have a problem with a constitutional amendment? Is it because it wasn't an original one.

I will give you that Cruz has a big brain in his noggin. But, so what? There are a lot of intelligent people in the world that have bad ideas and beliefs.

Most people would say Rachel Maddow is intelligent. Ivy league schools and Rhodes scholar doesn't guarantee they will make good decisions in their life's or make them a great leader.

His beliefs are just too damn far right to be taken seriously by the majority of America. No matter how smart he is.

I'd wager that you know very little about his beliefs. The media has consistently misrepresented him since they decided he represented a very real threat. He is definitely a right wing guy on the economy but we really don't have much info on his social views yet.

Please give me hard examples of what he really believes and how it is so FAR right...

So far we know for sure...

He is a gun rights support... you know like MOST Americans.

He supports increasing quotas to allow for more immigration and higher quality immigrants.

He is against partial birth abortions and FORCING employers to pay for birth control.

The only stance I know of his that is "far right" is being against same sex marriage. The rest of his stances so far at the National level have been things that are either majority or very close to majority views.
