While you are looking at phone records and emails....

It's over 800 pages, no one has read it, it's expensive, and it's full of dirty tricks to increase democrat voters. Deja vu all over again. The video is 20 minutes but well worth it.

We are being sold out by the senate. Rubio sucks balls. **** McCain. **** Graham.

I've lost? You're a moron.

Since you didn't provide a link, it's kind of hard to figure out where you got that data, but it looks like you either made it up or you've been feeding on wingnut websites again.

Here's actual data from the General Social Survey that verifies my statement (from a far left website, no less). And I'll add data from the Washington Post/ABC News poll for good measure.

O.M. F. G! Do you know that wikipedia can be wrong, has been found to be wrong and can be edited by just about anybody. Even some of their big points aren't right. You'd have to know a subject to see it though. Wikipedia is okay as a starting point only.

No your post is bullshit for a politician. Ron Paul read the bills. In fact he knew all about the bills even before his staff did. The problem is politicians have to rely more and more on their staffs for this sort of thing. And those staff are not always reliable or trustworthy.

I agree that public opinion has only recently turned on favor of gay marriage. But, it was a long time coming. People were educated. Young people didn't inherit the prejudices of their parents.

Public opinion is never flipping back on this issue. Same as it did with blacks were not separate but equal, they were just equal. This is a train that can't be stopped.

The only people who still oppose gay marriage are considered right wing conservatives on this issue. Far outside the mainstream view of America. In a couple of years I could see pro-gay marriage polling 75% in polls.

It's just another part of the demographic death spiral that the Republican party is facing according to Sen. Graham.

When it gets to 75% support, I'll agree that calling opposition "far right" is arguably fair. Right now, though, it's not. There are plenty of political centrists who still oppose same sex marriage (and probably some who are otherwise pretty liberal, especially in the black and union wings of the dem party).

I agree that support will continue to trend upward though.

I can support that too. Afterall, people are going to jail here for breaking the law on other things. Some of them quite stupid and insignificant.

I'd be OK with forgiving illegals (i.e. no penalty) and letting them stay here legally while they wait for citizenship from the back of the line as if they have just walked into the US embassy in Mexico City to apply for entry (i.e. no special path to citizenship), if we could have confidence that border security would prevent future illegal immigration.

The majority consider it a far right position now.

The black churches etc are taking a far right position on this individual issue although they trend left. Most on the left would consider my support of gun rights a far right position. It's just more examples of the polarization of America.

They are clearly on board for a good bill and solid proposals.

Yeah...not sure about that. Opposition of background checks, sure, but support of simple ownership rights is still pretty mainstream.

Don't shoot the messenger. It's not my beliefs that are becoming obsolete and are in a demographic death spiral.

Maybe a majority among party-line, liberal democrats consider it far right. Or a majority among the left/libertarian/young people who you tend to find on the internet. But otherwise, no. Maybe some day, but not now.
