Not quite. Bush was being warned in August of 2001. Even if he wasn't, for arguments sake, 9/11 was blowback for PGWI, another military intervention of choice to show how the NWO
( Bush Sr. and Scowcroft's words) would work.

9/11 was the result of poor leadership and politics trumping national security for globalism or internationalism.

In other words the same ole', same ole' policies. Rinse and repeat.
We're in a global war with the people who killed our Libyan ambassador, among others, even if you won't acknowledge it.

Then maybe when we decide to leave an embassy in a historically active hotspot we should have the administrative balls to keep a small peacekeeping force there instead of pretending that the rest of the world loves us and it will all be OK.

I wouldn't call them idiots by any means. They just have a philosophy. I think it might be a bit extreme and misguided (especially their strict Austrian economy stuff) but at least they have some principles and are clearly out for what they THINK are America's best interests. In a modern age of back room politics and hypocrites, they are somewhat refreshing.

Rand makes a great point. We lost a lot of freedoms over the incompetence of Bush and Cheney, and the Republican party that they controlled that was willing to install a surveillance state.

Bull shit. We allied with those Islamacists via our CIA in Libya and where arms are flowing into Syria. This war started out being with a small group of men. What maybe a hundred? Your guy's have made it global—for their own global ends. Your guys made more terrorists daily.
