What do you spend on fresh fruits and veggies a week

One thing my wife and I don't really budget is our groceries. We tend to shop a few times a week and buy only the next two or three meals at a time. So I don't have a good feel for this.

I'm trying to do the math on joining a local CSA. What would you say you spend a week on fresh fruits and veggies?

The bigger question is Heinz or Hunt's?

I used to be a Heinz man all the way. Once Hunt's put out their natural, no HFCS version, I prefer it. Heinz is soooo sweet, where Hunt's has a subtler sweetness and a spicier (not spicy hot) profile.

Neither. Simple Truth organic. We switched to it a few years ago, and forgot to take a bottle on a camping trip. So, I had to run out to find some. It wasn't available, so I just got Heinz. It was so sweet that we had to scrape it off the weiners.

I got a jar of homemade ketchup from the Mennonites farm stand many years ago when I was in Missouri.... holy balls was that awesome ketchup. I never found it again, and I've never been able to make it. I'd pay handsomely for more of it.

I thought the Hunt's natural was sweeter than the Heinz natural.

Interesting.

I like Hunts better than Heinz. And though Hunts was writing, "no high fructose corn syrup," on the bottle they seem to have stopped. And I think if you check the back they list some other sweetener.
I almost never eat ketchup, though. It's kind of gross. Especially when it dries on a plate.

You have to get the "100% Natural" version to get no HFCS.

They switched their entire line away from HFCS a couple years ago, and then went back. Now you can find one version that's "100% natural" without the HFCS.

Heinz is the better Ketchup, IMO, and you can get Simply Heinz if you want to avoid the HFCS.
