What are Liberals teaching their children?

Here's an insight, from photos taken at a pro-abortion rally in Texas to support Wendy Davis:

The pro-abortion protests outside the state capitol in Austin have produced a variety of offensive signs and slogans — but perhaps none more offensive than activists yelling “Hail Satan” as pro-lifers sang “Amazing Grace.”

I'm not doing any tearing down, buddy. I'm defending against the ethnocentric and insulting comments you made in post #15, and responding to your assumption that my non-belief stems from trying to find a reason NOT to believe.

Religion is not the sole arbiter of morality in the world. Cultural universals would not be a sociological reality, if all morality could only truly be derived from a religion. Each society/religion would have had its completely unique set of morals, if man wasn't adopting some of the common morals needed to civilize and survive.

The two worst human beings I have known - by far - were very religious. One was a pastor/child molestor. The other was an extremely devout Christian who committed fraud against the U.S. govt. and his clients, engaged in multiple affairs and had bastard kids he didn't support, embezzled money, and generally lied his face off for years.

One of the best human beings I know is also very religious. She's inspirational to me, in fact, even though I don't share her faith.

My point: Religion and morality and separate ideals. Each is possible without the other.

Churches everywhere pray for the country, our people, even our leaders. Pretty much includes everyone. Are you uncomfortable with that?

Do you think these people were bad because of the church or in spite of it? Or maybe the church or religion has zero to do with who the bad people are in your life.

Cling to the morality without belief thing if it keeps you afloat.

Not uncomfortable at all. Those who pray obviously can do so as they choose. Since you were condescending already, I was just predicting what condescension was next.

Do you think these people were bad because of the church or in spite of it? Or maybe the church or religion has zero to do with who the bad people are in your life.

I already shared my thoughts on this: My point: Religion and morality are separate ideals. Each is possible without the other.

Or, that being religious doesn't automatically make one moral. Just like being nonreligious doesn't automatically make one amoral.

We're going to have to find a way to wrest control of her kids out of that mother's hands. Instead of hte state intruding like they normally do, let's let the Church intrude for once. Let them take full control over the child. I say it's about time. Turn the tables.

Liberals, if'n you can really call them that, are teaching their children that it's a right to control their own bodies—but that right is non-existent if you don't want to buy healthcare insurance for it. They teach their kids that the government should not be in their wombs but they want the govt to pay for birth-control for that same womb.

The best part of this thread is PB thinking this board had never seen pictures like this or that this board had never discussed this subject ... Oh fifteen ****ing years ago on the Star board.

I didn't see anything crude there did you? Maybe a bleeped out sexual reference or a coat hanger. Maybe a bloody criminal lying on the ground with bullets on it, something like that
