Donovan McNabb Says Stafford Hasn't Earned His Contract

Looks like McNabb is butthurt over Matt Stafford's contract.

Shut up McNabb you haven't earned your microphone.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-his-contract/

"For the second time this offseason, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has weighed in on a current NFL quarterback’s contract. And for the second time, McNabb has expressed his disapproval.

In March, McNabb said Tony Romo isn’t worth the money the Cowboys have agreed to pay him. Now McNabb has weighed in on Matthew Stafford’s new contract with the Lions, and once again McNabb believes the team is overpaying."

Yeah, no shit.

Now just because a guy has a strong arm and underachieves a little bit early in his career he's Jeff George?

He's under contract for the next 5 years. I wouldn't call that short term.

The Lions have had one winning season in 12 years, and it's because of Matt Stafford.

He's definitely overpaid though.

Had he hit free agency I'd have had to problems with the Chiefs giving him a huge deal.

Although I think he would be a perfect fit in a norv offense

So you bashed Smith for 1.5 winning season in his career and its all his fault but Stafford has 1 and its not his fault.

Gotcha slick.

Yes, you are.

The 49ers had the #1 defense.

Stafford has never played with a defense ranked higher than 23rd.

He's never had any kind of running game to speak of.

So just shut your stupid homer mouth.

You sure about that? They started off 5-0, because of their, wait for it, DEFENSE. Stafford had a great year, but most of his yards came later in the season when they were having shootouts and their defense slowed down....

Excuses aren't made for franchise QB's Clay, that's why they are franchise.

I remember that time when Brees cried about his defense. Oh wait that never ****ing happened.

Stafford has only started three years in the league, nimrod.

Does everything have to be explained to you?

Put Alex Smith on the 2011 Detroit Lions. Do you think they come CLOSE to 10-6?

The 49ers have not had the number one defense since their super bowl winning season of 2004. They were second in ppg to the ravens in 11, and about 4th overall. They were however first in TO differential.

Where do you get these facts? Oh, yeah, never mind.....

#1, #2, whatever.

Stafford's defenses suck ass.

Alex Smith's have been near the top of the league.

You have ZERO ground to stand on.

put Stafford on the 2011 49ers, they don't go 13-3. Stafford would of had no one to throw to. The 49ers since Nolan was coach, and gm, built the defense. And that continued until just recently with Harbaugh. Why are we doing this again?
