Old movies that bring back nostalgic memories

I'm watching the original Karate Kid movie, and it surprises me how much I'm enjoying it. It just really brings me back to when I was a kid --- I was 11 when this came out. Sweep the leg is still a phrase that is iconic, but the Daniel san and Mr. Miyagi relationship was good stuff. And what teenage boy wasn't in love with Elizabeth Shue?

All that said, what movies have you seen as an adult that really took you back to when you were a kid? I sometimes assume these old movies won't hold up, but it's not really about that when nostalgia is involved.

Frankly, I'm looking forward to tomorrow which is Pie and BJ day, the holiday originally established by Charlemagne to acknowledge the Khazar kingdom's conversion to Judaism and the remarkable ability of Byzantine women to both bake and control their gag reflex.

for whatever reason....Warriors is being rerun a lot lately. rewatched for the first time in years and years a few weeks ago....and I gotta say....it isn't as good as I remembered it being. but it's a classic fer sure.

For me it was all about the atmosphere, or, where I saw the movie.

Soylent Green- Just loved Chuck Heston. Saw on the big screen at our local vintage theatre.
Planet of the Apes.-See above
Kentucky Fried Movie- First boobie movie at the Drive In
The Cowboys- They stopped this film in the middle to anounce that the Vietnam War was over. I remember my Mom cried and my Dad hugged her.
