Huma Abedin (Weiner) & "liberal feminism"

Hilarious. A liberal feminist stands by her man, Tammy Wynette style. And it's been noted in the press this week that Huma (for some reason she's just too feminist to take her hubby's name) worked as Hillary's right hand woman for many years.

So that's where she learned it.

Anyway, that's where we are today in the "War On Women". Liberal feminists are just peachy with philandering (and rumored abusive) horndogs like Weiner, Clinton, Gore, John Edwards, on and on. Fidelity is a joke to these new age gals, screw around on them as you wish. But don't you dare touch my abortions! That would be war, dammit.

Should women get equal pay for the work they do?
Should they be given access to the same employment opportunities if they have the same qualifications?
Should people be made aware of bullshit methods by which women are made to feel less capable?

You answer yes to those questions, then you're likely a feminist. Of course, it's not surprising that BEP would attempt to idiotically miscategorize such ideas, as she's a reactionary buffoon.

"Ooh, Hillary wants political power, she must be a dyke."--Dumbshits who fear women because of their own weak constitution.

WTF is your point? That "leftist" women tend to have more respect for women with similar values and ideals? Are there a lot of right-wing women who love Nancy Pelosi? First female Speaker of the House seems like an accomplishment that should be respected.

And you threw Liz Cheney into that group? WTF has she done? I wouldn't go bragging too much about Palin or Bachman either.

You're right. I'm just pointing out that feminists don't like successful strong women, they like them only when they agree with them on abortion.

So they only like people who share their interests? Wow, big deal.

As "feminists," even type you have invented, would still support the rights they believe in for the women they don't "like."

Ah hah, yes I do know. Read Unlimited Access written by a former FBI who covered the WH, Bill Clinton as reported in Gennifer Flowers' book and some former SS. It's well known in DC circles about Hillary. But on Huma at least I use the word it's been "rumored."

Why are you so appalled or ashamed anyway? I don't get why people who are so pro-gay rights and all, feel they have to hide it from the broad public.

I don't know that they don't. I do know there's no pay gap for women who remain in the workforce continuously without stopping. Afterall, the statistics don't show this gap for such women. It shows it for women who leave the workforce to raise children, or take time off creating career gaps which can lower their pay. If you look behind the over generalized statistics that the feminists or left uses on this you'll see that more women tend to choose professions where they can have schedule flexibility instead or not high hours. Those jobs don't pay as much. So make sure you're comparing apples to apples when you make cliche egalitarian arguments.

Nobody is equal to another in abilities—PERIOD. To say so is communism. This is an attempt to establish more wage and price controls.

No it's egalitarianism and group identity collectivism. But then you describe yourself as a socialist anarchist which is some sort of unobjectionable catch word for communism.

I support the free-market and property rights...and think an employer should pay his employees what he thinks each is worth. And should he want to hire a buddy, someone from his church, girlfriend, wife, mother, son or daughter for more that's also his right.

She's a dyke because she happens to swing both ways and is the domineering personality.
People had to leave the corridors of the WH when she was walking down. Yup!

Now, what do any of those questions have to do with Huma Abedin sleeping her way to power or Hillary riding her hubby's coattails to power?

I'm not appalled or ashamed in any way, and I don't know how logic would take you there. I find it foolish and incredibly prejudicial that so many people in our society assume that powerful women must somehow be masculine.

It's stupid on two fronts: it assumes that straight women must somehow be docile, meek creatures while also assuming that lesbians are all of one stripe-a stereotypical power-hungry alpha male.

Yeah, well that's a strawman argument. Something, the left has a peculiar fascination with for their arguments.

I know women who aren't into the feminist movement, who are self-made millionaires in business. I suffer no prejudice about them. I respect and admire them, particularly one who happens to be a high school dropout. I assure you her top sales people are ALL women, all making in excess of $160k a year—well over what some of the men there make. You can't fake ability in sales. I had my own small business for a number of years and did quite well too. I was the "BOSS." I got to hire the models (mixed gender), photographers ( all men) the writers ( mixed genders), freelancers and employees based on their work and what I was willing to pay in the market against their competitors. So stuff your own prejudice and stereotypes back into your pocket.

So what explains Hillary needing to ride on hubby's coattails into power?
Or Huma's low pay, when working for Hillary even, but also living lavishly while working for her?

You got it backwards. Hillary just plays the role of dyke with her women lovers. Apparently with her men—not so much. Remember, she's supposed to be bisexual. So why can't she come out, when she has already shown a strong preference in hiring bisexual or gay women.

Again, you're erroneously continuing with a strawman argument here.

Here's an interesting concept: More women graduate from college than men, yet women earn 81 cents on the dollar in comparison to men. A woman with the same qualifications and the same credentials as a male earns about 6-7% less than a male.

It's absolutely astounding that you think opposing discrimination is somehow a communist ideal. Then again, you don't really understand any of the political labels you throw out, so it's not terribly surprising coming from you.

This is completely false.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has found pay inequities in nearly every job category. Female college professors make 77 percent of male college professors' salaries; female computer programers make 81 percent. For reporters it's 76 percent.

On average, women in America earn 77 cents for every dollar a man earns.
Gretchen Gagel McComb, president and chief executive of the Women's Foundation of Colorado, said the disparity can't be dismissed as the consequence of choices women make in their careers or time off for child-rearing.

"Some very specific studies show that when you compare workers, gender penalties exist that can't be explained by workers taking maternity leaves or choices people make about how many hours they work in a week," she said.

Much of the pay inequity is the result of discrimination, plain and simple.
She cited a 2000 study by the University of Denver for the Colorado Women's Bar Association that found female lawyers with 10 to 20 years of experience earned 74 percent of what men with comparable career paths and experience earned.

That's complete horseshit. I said nothing about every being equal. What I have said, and what I will continue to say, is that woman of equal qualifications are not given equal compensation. That is unfair.

A very interesting study was performed a few years ago. Adults were asked to watch infants crawl up an inclined plane. The infants were dressed in such a way that it was impossible to note their biological sex. Despite the fact that there is no difference in strength between a female and male infant, respondents took the female off the ramp 30 percent sooner if they knew her sex than if they didn't.

That's one example, I can give you dozens of others.

Here's a particularly interesting one. Larry Summers (yeah, that guy) caused a hell of a shitstorm when he was President at Harvard because he said, in an open forum nonetheless, that women did not succeed at the rate men did in the sciences because their brains weren't capable of thinking that way.

Thanks for proving my point WRT: the "dyke" stigma. She's a dyke because she has a strong personality?

Have you been lobotomized? Can you point me to one scientific study that demonstrates what a strong personality is and if lesbians are more likely to have strong personalities? Cause I'd love to see it?

Moreover, where is this proof that Hillary is actually gay? And who cares either way? This is where your complete ignorance of irony really paints you the fool--you ascribe these identities onto someone based upon perceived beliefs of how a group acts, and while you spout off in the same post that you support a cadre of various rights for individuals.

I'll address your misidentification of my political philosophy in a future post. My RAM can only handle about eight gigabytes of stupid.

Do you have any sources of any repute that can actually establish that Hillary Clinton is gay and/or bisexual?

Moreover why does it matter?

If you are as non-discriminatory as you claim, why would you bring this up?

How is your above post any different from "I have a black friend"?

You don't even know what a strawman is. Yes, I'm hacking someone down, and were you not so adroit at caricaturing a right wing ideologue it would be a strawman, but you actually believe the stupid crap you claim that you cannot source.

Ah, the catch-word of "any repute." I already mentioned two, one a former FBI who worked at the WH, Bill Cinton's former lover, and a SS, whose name I can't give you. Nothing will ever be good enough for you.

My point originally was that Huma was riding Hillary's coattails due to such a relationship which I said has been a rumored relationship; and possibly also her husband Weiner's coattails—just as Hillary has done. Ya' know adding to what was brought up in this thread? Plus someone mentioned conservatives loving cock and hypocrite conservatives that are outed as gay. So why not out Hillary who is pro-gay? Get it?

What happened was you reacted to it.

See my last sentence just above in this same post. I also did not say I was "non-discriminatory" either.

I don't know and don't think it matters. Particularly, since I was one of those business women once who serviced other business owners —male and female. So your question should be: "How is that any different than being black? "

Nope. You don't. I do. You restated my position in your own words to make mine other than stated or different. Then you thought you took that position down.

I sourced two books. One more direct. You ignored that. So quit straw manning or lying.

If you want to find something just use google. Because where I heard this material about Hillary has floated around for years in conservative press and by people who work in DC—way back into the early 90's. She showed a strong preference for hiring gay women was circumstantial. Here's the New Yorker but it does refer to the Enquirer. However, the Enquirer got the John Edward's story right and a few others: Bruno Maglis shoes of OJ, Gary Hart, Rush. But look at the first comment. That's one where I heard it, specifically that she was caught in bed with Markie Post of Night Court.

The Huma rumor happened when Hillary kissed her on the mouth and not quickly emerging from her limo and that they had been together constantly. There was a video showing this. I don't remember who reported that.
