What a great morning

My boss came up to me this morning and wanted to know if I wanted to become a foreman. It took me off guard, but I gladly accepted. It's a great pay raise and a company truck to take home. They're going to evaluate me for 2-3 weeks and let me know my final pay. ****ing stoked.

A few beers are in the works for a celebration.

Big ups, dude. That's not an easy gig to get. My cousin is the foreman for an electric company and it took him some time. Congratulations! Enjoy a barley pop or 12 from me!

If you seize the opportunity and work hard and make your bosses look good, I could see you getting promoted to fiveman someday, or maybe even as high as sixman.

Social media post. I suppose that you could refer to this place as social media. Your boss may look at this to check for your "too public" reaction to your good fortune. I suggest that you re-post that you are heading to your chosen center of worship to thank God for the benevolence of your boss. I don't mean to be too presumptive but am just looking out for my "bros" in this forum. I almost feel as though I am one of you folks!

* Brodie Croyle (!) is the only quarterback drafted by the team to start a game for them since the mid-80's...and he barely beat out Damon Huard in the process. Croyle then promptly lost all six of his starts. He couldn't even beat out Tyler Thigpen once he returned from injury.
