Simple choice.

Of course Frazod loves the authoritarian macho type. That should be surprising to exactly no one.

Obama may not act macho—but he's definitely an authoritarian leaning on being totalitarian.

Ignorant as always, I see. Where did I say I loved the guy? I just have more respect for him as a leader than the TelePrompTer-in-Chief. Which isn't saying much, considering I have more respect for you and ghettio than I do the TelePrompTer-in-Chief.

The fact the conservatives in this poll are blowing Putin simply tells you all you need to know about the state of conservativism in this country.

Hint: it's ****ing dire.

I'd rather have feckless, wannabe-authoritarian Obama than actual dictator Putin on a day to day basis, but Putin is clearly the more impressive leader. I certainly don't want to be in a position where the well-being of the US comes down to a showdown between Putin and Obama.

He can claim single females as well. He has demonstrated zero ability to bring disparate groups together. In fact his style is to avoid those sorts of situations and create division. He has shown no interest in meeting in the middle, working to be inclusive with the right or even moderates.

We have no ability to evaluate Putin in a similar political environment so who knows. What we can speculate is in a real gut match, Putin would hand Obama his nuts in a paper sack. For that matter it would be difficult to name a major leader who wouldnt overpower Obama in any negotiation.
Excellent (and fair) synopsis.

I have little use for either but that was not an option so I didn't vote. You bringing up blowing anyone is pretty rich. You have to type to be heard because your mouth is so full of Obama's dick nobody could understand you if tried to talk~

at people attributing some sort of leadership excellence based on the perception that Putin would kick ass in a fist fight.

If there was a "showdown" between the US and Russia, it isn't going to be settled in a back alley. I'm pretty sure they both have a decent ability to order military attacks. Frankly, if you're judging on the ability and willingness to strike at the enemy, Obama is the badass here.

The problem is the term "leader" goes utterly undefined in the OP, leaving the term as this nebulous concept that people will mean to mean nothing and everything all at the same time.

I can't think of a single aspect of leadership that I would prefer Putin over Obama.

Well wait, I can think of one: Putin's approval rating is somewhere in the low 70s. If by "leadership" you mean "getting the most people to want you to be the leader," then he's got Obama beat there, as he does pretty much every American President in the modern era.

Wheres the Gaz option, he's the only one i'd vote for here.

I laughed and sneered when Obama won this second term, i really did... "***K BUSH AND HIS KIND"... i honestly wonder just what in the hell was i thinking.

From tripling down on Bush' security state, to being weak with Putin, to NOT being the most transparent administration ever L.O.L., to coddling chinese territorial ambitions, to Zimmerman, to slamming obamacare down america and congress' throat without even letting them know WHATS IN IT, to... ahhh **** it, i'll just go with what DJ'sLeftNut said...

... i simply dont trust this guy anymore.

I don't know how ordering people to risk death or create it makes you a "badass."

But Obama is no pacifist. Snowden is just a card that fell into Putin's lap.

If the roles were reversed, and a Russian version of Snowden fell into Obama's lap, there's little doubt this dance would basically be the same the other way around.
