Simple choice.

Which is why Snowden stayed in the United States after he blew the whistle. Because Obama never smacks people around.

I suppose I agree with that, although I can't really understand why. Weak and ineffectual? Sure, if you have expectations like patteeu and think Obama is responsible for micromanagement of every country's business, such as the outcome of Egypt's elections.

Other than the remaining neocons who want a permanent occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, I'm not really sure what the right's beef with Obama is, other than that he's Obama. He's bombing terrorists and not sending in 200,000 troops to do so.

Well, sure. You could kind of interpret it that way. I could see W getting upset about evildoers with coaching by his handlers. And then publicly pretending to order something that the NeoCons decided to do.

Where are you pulling this shit from?

His "sack" resume consisted of invading one country without a functional military because he was "pushed too far" by the worst terrorist attack in US history, and invading another country with a barely functional military that had nothing to do with said terror attack. Some guts.

(b.) Obama will employ, at the very, very least, sanctions (with the rest of the international community), terrorism (with Israel), and potentially some two-party diplomacy by the end of his second term in order to prevent it.

Tell me either (a.) or (b.) are wrong.

Then tell me (a.) is a better example of leadership than (b.).

Because that's the only way you're using Iran's nuclear ambition as some sort of win for Putin's leadership skills over Obama.
I wanted you to divorce yourself from Putin's real life views as the leader of Russia and consider him as he would be as the leader of the US trying to lead the country toward the goal of a nuclear-free Iran. So (a) is wrong because you're sidestepping the whole point of the hypothetical.

What I'm not hearing you say is that I was wrong about anything I said.

Iran is dabbling with a nuclear program. Putin doesn't give a shit unless there is money in it for him. Obama has engineered vast global sanctions, is elbow-deep with Israel in a covert terrorism campaign against the Iranian nuclear program, and is relatively likely to host bilateral talks with Iran within the next couple years. And that's a minimum of what we know about.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I know you would, but these are incontrovertible facts.

So we have to ask ourselves: which player is exhibiting more leadership here?

To pretend the answer is anything but our current President is the kind of delusional nonsense rotting the Republican Party from the inside out.

I think the poll would have been closer if the question asked was which one was the bigger narcassist.
