Rodeo Clown Discovers Whether America Is Still Free

There are many measures of freedom, but one sure indication that you are not free is if you are not allowed to make fun of the primary figurehead of the government. For example, the rodeo clown who poked innocent fun at Obama has been banned for life from the Missouri State Fair.

Even that wasn’t enough. The rodeo announcer and president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association has been forced to resign.

Still not enough. Rodeo clowns must now undergo the humiliating brainwashing procedure known as “sensitivity training.”

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...vity-training/

Still not enough. The NAACP, black America’s answer to the KKK, wants Eric Holder’s aggressively racist Social Justice Department to investigate.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Governm...CP-rodeo-clown

Next they will start rounding up anyone wearing cowboy boots for detention.

Do even liberals want to live in a country where no one dares laugh at government figures? The evident answer: damned straight they do, so long as they are the ones running the government.

Meanwhile, in contrast to the phony gasps of outrage that a rodeo clown would dare wear an Obama mask, there was no outrage over this George Bush rodeo dummy:

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013...#disqus_thread

Moonbats can only manufacture outrage when the "controversy" can be used to smear non-moonbats as raythithts, but shit to sincerely be disturbed over, complete silence or promotion:

Note that with libs, the lightheartedness is replaced with viciousness. Yet somehow they deserve freedom of speech, whereas their opponents do not.

Lest anyone take the pathetic screeches of “racism” seriously, compare the rodeo clown’s trivial joke with progressives’ explicitly racist attacks on non-liberals like Clarence Thomas:

At the rate America is degenerating into authoritarian statism, 10 years from now the clown would be tortured and killed for his harmless act of irreverence.

http://moonbattery.com/?p=34801

**** off and die, Moonbats. **** you and **** your moonbat messiah, the Chicongo Kid, Barry Soetero.

Who in the government forced the president of the MRCA and the announcer to resign?

Quote:
Mark Ficken, president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association and the announcer at the event, resigned from the group over the state fair, his lawyer told The Associated Press on Tuesday. According to attorney Albert Watkins, Mr. Ficken resigned because the association has not expelled from its membership another clown, who made most of the Obama comments, and his client would not accept criticism on those terms.

Can we agree that whoever did it, it was a ridiculous reaction caused by the divisive and hypocritical concepts of political correctness pushed by the left?

Of course it was. Both far leaning sides are ridiculous. My post in that rodeo clown thread was hinting at what you said.

Y'know, I'm never surprised by over-reaction by the left but often surprised by how easily others roll over to the hype...especially with so many examples of the hypocrisy out there.

I think you could find out from whoever made the decision(s), no?

Who was once a bull hooking son of a gun
Now who keeps a pint hid out behind chute No 1
Who was ridin' high till a pretty girl rode him to the ground
Any kid knows where to find me I'm Bandy the rodeo clown.

In the ridin' and a ropin' I was closin' in on No 1
Now in dreams at night I ride on that silver saddle I never won
Since she left me the whiskey takes me to the rodeo grounds
Where the cowboys think I'm handy I'm Bandy the rodeo clown.

I could ride 'em all the bulls and the broncos knew I was boss
But the ride that woman took me on
Broke a whole lot more than this ole cowboy's bones
While the tears on my make-up melts my painted smile into a frown
The crowd thinks I'm a dandy I'm Bandy the rodeo clown.

I assume he discovered it is plenty free. He was free to do his act, some oversensitive people were free to complain about it, and whoever employed him was free to do whatever they wanted. No one is in jail, fined, or suffered any adverse consequences from the govt.

OK, I didn't really read that thread very closely so I didn't know your position.

The idea that mockery of a black President is prima facie evidence of racism, for starters.
