Rodeo Clown Discovers Whether America Is Still Free

There are many measures of freedom, but one sure indication that you are not free is if you are not allowed to make fun of the primary figurehead of the government. For example, the rodeo clown who poked innocent fun at Obama has been banned for life from the Missouri State Fair.

Even that wasn’t enough. The rodeo announcer and president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association has been forced to resign.

Still not enough. Rodeo clowns must now undergo the humiliating brainwashing procedure known as “sensitivity training.”

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...vity-training/

Still not enough. The NAACP, black America’s answer to the KKK, wants Eric Holder’s aggressively racist Social Justice Department to investigate.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Governm...CP-rodeo-clown

Next they will start rounding up anyone wearing cowboy boots for detention.

Do even liberals want to live in a country where no one dares laugh at government figures? The evident answer: damned straight they do, so long as they are the ones running the government.

Meanwhile, in contrast to the phony gasps of outrage that a rodeo clown would dare wear an Obama mask, there was no outrage over this George Bush rodeo dummy:

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013...#disqus_thread

Moonbats can only manufacture outrage when the "controversy" can be used to smear non-moonbats as raythithts, but shit to sincerely be disturbed over, complete silence or promotion:

Note that with libs, the lightheartedness is replaced with viciousness. Yet somehow they deserve freedom of speech, whereas their opponents do not.

Lest anyone take the pathetic screeches of “racism” seriously, compare the rodeo clown’s trivial joke with progressives’ explicitly racist attacks on non-liberals like Clarence Thomas:

At the rate America is degenerating into authoritarian statism, 10 years from now the clown would be tortured and killed for his harmless act of irreverence.

http://moonbattery.com/?p=34801

**** off and die, Moonbats. **** you and **** your moonbat messiah, the Chicongo Kid, Barry Soetero.

I don't hold that belief and I'm liberal, nor does my family, who are also very liberal. In fact, on a personal level, have never heard that from someone's lips.

What's next?

We all know the Left is full of hypocrite crybabies. We know that, and it's never going to change. It's in their DNA. What's important is that they not be acknowledged. For the state's GOP member to get involved and denounce it is a joke. Just don't respond. Your supporters (you know - those actual voters who elect you?) don't want to hear apologies, they think you're a weak tool when yo udo.

I can't remember the last time a Democrat apologized for anything. And that's because Democrats aren't really interested in trying to make Republicans like them.

This bullshit is the new McCarthyism, except there are 100,000 McCarthys this time around. Hate the shitty, lying president? YOU'RE A RACIST! Don't feel the need to see a gay cast member in every single show you watch? YOU'RE A HOMOPHOBE! Believe that silly Constitution thing provides you with the right to own a gun? YOU WANT CHILDREN TO DIE! Whether it's some nobody from the Star, or Piers Morgan, or Bill Maher, or any of the uncounted scores of these ****ing vermin in between, they're out there, and they want to ruin you. And the sad part is how effective it is. Who gives a shit about rodeo clowns OR the Missouri State Fair? But every high ranking elected official is bending over backwards to talk about how horrible and awful this crap is, horrified that they be demonized by this ****ing media lynch mob. It's like some tearful mother pleading on TV for a kidnapper to release her child unharmed, only now, the kidnappers are behind the cameras. And in front of them. RACIST! HATER! I LOVE EVERYBODY AND WHY AREN'T YOU LIKE ME, ASSHOLE?????

I keep hoping there will be some moment of clarity, a day when somebody stands up to Morgan or Matthews with that magical "have you no decency?" phrase that snaps everybody out of the fog of liberal mind control, but sadly, I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Those clowns should sue on infringement of their First Amendment rights—ALL the way to the supreme court. This is a state infringing on their rights.

You must be kidding me...

The gentle gibes that those guys occasionally utter about the affirmative action president hardly qualify as banter compared to the pure acidic nonstop vitriol that spewed from their assholes when talking about George Bush.

If you deny that, then you are too far gone to engage in rational discourse.

I don't think the beliefs you hold make a perceptible difference here (although, along similar lines, I distinctly remember a case where you falsely accused someone of racism not involving the President, so you're a part of the problem).

And what you've heard matters even less.

I agree with this. It's shameful that members of the GOP are feeding this nonsense.

Meanwhile here's a look into the mind of a sitting President from the 70's. I see no reason whatsoever to put these guys on a pedestal and they should absolutely never be free from criticism. Even ridicule and mockery if you so choose. This clip doesn't really belong anywhere, and I think a lot of people might agree with him even today, but I found it to be entertaining. Especially considering the recent media attention over Putin's attitude towards gay people in his own country:

, really?
I'm not going to bring up something that occurred many, many years ago that we obviously still disagree on. Something that a lot of people disagreed on, too, I might add.

We don't use those tactics and we are of the left? So do we not count?

Of course he handled them differently. I distinctly remember McCain cancelling an appearance for a BS reason on the Letterman show and it pissing off Letterman. I certainly wouldn't approach them the same if someone did that to me.
