Area 51 CIA The CIA Has Finally Confirmed That Area 51 Exists

http://www.businessinsider.com/cia-a...is-real-2013-8

LAS VEGAS (AP) The CIA is acknowledging the existence of Area 51 in newly declassified documents.

George Washington University's National Security Archive obtained a CIA history of the U-2 spy plane program through a public records request and released it Thursday.

National Security Archive senior fellow Jeffrey Richelson reviewed the history in 2002, but all mentions of Area 51 had been redacted.

Richelson says he requested the history again in 2005 and received a version a few weeks ago with mentions of Area 51 restored.

Officials have already acknowledged in passing the existence of the facility in central Nevada where the government is believed to test intelligence tools and weapons.

Richelson believes the new document shows the CIA is becoming less secretive about Area 51's existence, if not about what goes on there.

The only reason they're acknowledging Area 51 is because they finally opened Area 52.

If I ever became president (calm down, I probably won't run), the first thing I would do is tour Area 51. Whatever else is going on can wait until I see the Martians or whatever it is they have in there.

I have an Uncle that's an engineer for NASA and worked there while they were building a stealth fighter plane. My grandmother would poke and prod at him to get him to talk about it and he wouldn't. The only thing he would say is, "they have stuff there that you'd never believe".

He risked his TS/SCI by even saying that. Would like to hear what he knows.

Yeah me too. That guy was a freak though. Never met anyone like him. He graduated from some Ivy League school just like his dad, married my Aunt, popped out a bunch of kids and bought some million dollar home in Palmdale and segregated themselves from the rest of the family.

He was a devout christian. I remember when i was a kid, him and my grandparents would play some board game bible questionnaire and when he'd start losing, he'd turn beet red, get mad and start sweating like crazy. The dude was a weird one.
