Having the Budweiser with your son leaning on the fencepost talking about life? Yeah, maybe in 20 years or so.

The guy who said he's in month 2 and "wouldn't trade it for the world" is more full of shit than the diaper he's changing.
Wow. It's always been apparent that you're a dumb **** and the posts in this thread confirm it to everyone.

This is your friend.

Buy those things in bulk and they're incredibly cheap. They also have free 2-day shipping. The costs when compared to cloth diapers are pretty close to even when you start doing the math in the liners and stuff.

And go buy the Baby Bargains book, Mr. Buehler. Your wife will think you're a badass.

http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Bargains-...=Baby+Bargains

We don't even use ours for bargain hunting, rather it has a pretty comprehensive overview of the major stuff you'll need, who makes it, who makes it well and what the major difference are.

Amazon Prime. Diapers, formula and everything else in 2 days or less. If you sign up for the recurring delivery, you save 20% more. I still by wipes at Costco.

Clothes at Target, Costco and Craigslist. For our second, I went all Ikea crib and furniture which looks great, is functional and ridiculously affordable, I also put a queen size bed in her room and slept in there, which made it much easier to wake up, feed and go back to bed.

I had both girls sleeping 12 hours a night by 12 weeks by using sleep training and white noise. And changing a diaper? Ha, who cares? I pick up dog poop all week from two 75 pound Labs that is more "gross" than changing a diaper.

Once he starts crawling, put a rope around his waist and tie a tractor tire to it. It builds up leg strength and acceleration if he/she ever wants to play cornerback.

Your life as you know it does not end but rather changes. Sure, long gone are the spur of the moment juvenile activities that dominate one's youth, but even those activities can proceed because the only thing that is needed is planning.

I've had just my son and I solely for the past 5 years. During that time I've almost completed my bachelors degree, dated several women, done tons of fun activities (some with him and some without---and the ones that were with him I cherish the most) and I've had no help. Hell not even child support.

I, for one, hope that this life is over schtick is nothing more than a pathetic attempt at comedy. If, after looking into your child's just once, doesn't want you to discard a life as "you once knew it" then perhaps counseling would be a useful endeavor. I say this not trying to be malicious, but rather to call your attention that you are objectifying your children as the source of your misery and that is something that, no matter how well you guard your words, is quite detectable.

Like I said before, I traded the juvenile spur of the moment actions and what I got instead was undying loyalty and trust. The thrill and the excitement of cultivating a human being who is honest, trustworthy, and mentally strong. I am not perfect by any means, but I can honestly say that my children have given me no sense of misery and I can honestly say I wouldn't have it any other way.

If you're a single father, j diddy, do you walk your son on a leash in the park? I hear that's a real chick magnet.

I am a single father, no I do not walk my son on a leash, he's not a dog.

However, in the future I think I'll paint my car apricot. I hear that works.

Bah ignore the other advice. Always remember to take you child to the park for a walk every day. If you don't they'll get angry and piss all over the carpets!

Congrats man!

Its REALLY hard, and will test your relationship...so be strong and remember to take care of the mrs. and also try to carve out some time for just you two (get baby sitters!!! start working on getting baby sitters before you think you are 'ready')

I had another really good one but it just left my head....

If youre in northern california , I have a shit load of nice boys things you are welcome to pick through (0-24 month stuff)

Don't sweat the small shit youll be fine if you love your woman and your baby.
