18 points without the field goals? so are you predicting a couple safeties or multiple missed xpa?

9 field goals?

Chiefs never win in Florida. It won't happen this year either. Hope I'm wrong since this would be a close to a lock win if at Arrowhead.

They don't traditionally do well in Florida, but they did win their last game against Jacksonville by 22 points. With Matt Cassel at QB.

(And nearly won there the year prior, during a 4-12 season)

So, hey, anything's possible...

And it's Alex Smith now! We're saved!

Matt Cassel beat the team at Arrowhead. The Chiefs haven't won in Florida since 2005, the Friday Night Hurricane game.

If Kansas City loses this game, they're in serious trouble. Jacksonville is the worst team in the league by a fairly wide margin, and they're playing shorthanded.

As far as "they always lose in Florida" goes, I've been repeatedly told that I can't say the team doesn't want to draft a QB just because history indicates that. This is a new time, with a new front office and a new coaching staff and a new attitude and nothing that's happened before matters at all, and everyone's sticking their fingers in their ears and la la la la la. So...they can't be automatically expected to lose in Flordia, either. Because this is a new time, with a new front office and a new coaching staff and a new attitude and nothing's that happened before matters at all and my fingers are stuck in my ears la la la la la.

I think we've got this. Even if the season doesn't end up being anything special, I think we win this by a healthy margin.

I think the Chiefs are a better team than Jax, but it's kind of hard to imagine the Chiefs beating any team by 14 points when you consider that the Chiefs didn't even average 14 points per game last year.

I expect the final score to be something like 19-10, either team could come out on top.

With Gabbert, Henne and Stanzi, it's just like the Chiefs last year with Charles and Bowe.

When you've got steaming garbage at the QB position, it really doesn't matter what level of skill position players you have.

Tamba destroys Joekel, Berry gets some flash plays, maybe a pick or a sack... We win but mostly because of the defense
