Obama's Syrian Allies Bombard Christian Village

Obama’s allies in Syria — those who will directly benefit from the coming US airstrikes — stepped up their genocide against Syrian Christians today, attacking Maaloula, a Christian village, indiscriminately using mortar shells fired from a hilltop above the village.

According to the press report:

“Maaloula, a mountain village some 40 miles (60 kilometers) northeast of Damascus, is home to about 2,000 residents, some of whom still speak a version of Aramaic, the ancient language of biblical times believed to have been spoken by Jesus.”
Never mind the allegation no matter if false about Assad's attack on civilians, these guys are engaged in Christian genocide.

We are helping terrorists. Period.

We don't like the regime in Syria... tried to create a Civil War to destabilize the country...

Factor in that Syria was one of the 7 countries that Gen Wesley Clark said the US planned to attack in the near future... and you can see this is all bullshit.

Eventually though, by God, Syria will have a Rothschild central bank.

So if Congress says no Obama will do strike? Possible I suppose.

Of course, many on your side of the aisle were decrying that Obama couldn't/shouldn't take such action with checking with Congress first, so it's a bit absurd to complain about him not doing just that...

We know, of course, that Bush didn't much care what anyone thought as he went on his little cowboy adventures.

Even if I was a hawk on Syria, I can't imagine what kind of Republican would be so foolish as to want to give this president any more rope to hang ourselves with by authorizing him to intervene in this civil war. Anyone who supports or votes thier approval on this ends up sitting in the boat next to what is easily one of, if not THE worst commander in chief in American history.

I would think even a Syria hawk would want to put this guy on the sidelines as much as possible and hope for the best, rather than giving him authorization and expecting the worst.

Why aren't we letting the UN inspectors do their jobs?

Why the rush to war?

We don't even know for sure which side (the answer is BOTH sides) used chem weapons.

These people never attacked us!

Wesley Clark is a certified idiot. He almost got us into a shooting war with Russia over Kosovo due to his idiocy.

He is good at political boot licking but I doubt anybody in the military gave him any information after he was relieved of command in Kosovo.

That's what he would like, but it's clearly BS. Sorry, Obama owns it.

If there is a no vote, he'll try the blame game, but i (and a lot of others i would bet) ain't buying it.

What Republicans would do if they were smart is go along with it then push the ugliest images that result from the strikes on the MSM and claim they were lied to for a war of convenience.

You should enjoy your vacation. Obama will still be incompetent and his supporters will still be blinded by his empty rhetoric and all in with his finger pointing when you get back.

And yet, Bush isn't the guy who went alone instead of convincing Congress to support him like Obama did in Syria. Bush isn't the guy who was forced to consider entering a conflict without significant international support like Obama is in Syria.
