No one said Z was an American Hero. Your link is also full of strawman arguments of the right's position.

There was no actual killing in these later cases. ( Despite it being wrong to intimidate with any kind of force gun or no gun.) In fact GZ also called the cops on his gf for doing the same things.

Now I am sick of your GZ wailing while you get a woody.
Ok. So because nobody got killed, this isn't news. And I guess since most are sick of the story, the media is apparently getting nobody to read this story.

It's not getting "brow beaten." Zimmerman is in the news because he keeps doing stupid shit. Period. Stop with the conspiracy theories. Again, Casey Anthony was a lot more hated than Zimmerman. You know why she stayed out of the news? Because she stopped doing publicly stupid shit.

I believe it proves that people who viewed Z as a hero were completely wrong about him. He isn't a "good guy".

Even the NRA takes the stance that we don't need new gun laws but we need to better enforce the gun rules in place.

Again, I don't have a problem with the legality of what zimmerman did. Only based on facts we know. I continue to question why a man carrying a concealed firearm has a history of doing his own detective work, and is carrying a firearm in a capacity he shouldn't be (police have ability to use firearms for investigating non emergencies, ordinary civilians do not).

Which is why I don't get why more gun owners aren't like RNR... Gun owners who are embarrassed by the guy.

Who was that?

I think people thought defending oneself from an attacker was a legitimate defense. That may be heroic to some but just practical to others. However, putting the adjective "American" before "Hero" makes is sound like he saved a nation from an enemy attack. Exaggeration and hyperbole. I love how you lefties put words in the mouths of others.

Bottom line, whether or not Z is all good or all bad or a mix ( like most people) to a greater or lesser degree, is irrelevant to him being attacked and defending himself. Of course attacking milder tempered people, unlikely even to be armed, just lets the attackers win.

George Zimmerman is selling a patriotic painting on eBay that has already amassed more than 90 bids, pushing the price of the painting to nearly $100,000.

Zimmerman's attorney Jayne Weintraub confirmed the artwork's authenticity when it was put up for auction on eBay. The auction began with a bid of $50, but soared to $99,966 after 98 bids as of 3 a.m. EST.

The signed, 18-by 24-inch painting features a blue American flag with a few words from the Pledge of Allegiance: "God," "one nation," "with liberty and justice for all."

I think he's found his calling. A dozen more and he's a close to being a millionaire. I know I'm in the market for an original Zimmerman.

Here's the ebay listing. Over 100K with 2 days to go. So awesome

Some dumbass just paid $100 grand for a child's painting, and I'm the one who's supposed to be angry about it?

Come on man. You've had it out for the guy from the get go.

And it hasn't sold yet, could be a lot more with all the publicity it's getting now

Child's painting? I thought it was just as good as anything by Jasper Johns who is both critically acclaimed and famous for his art.
