I'd argue Clady is the second-most important Bronco behind Peyton. Huge loss.

Yeah, I'm with you.

Peyton excelled in Indy despite having absolute shit at the tackle position.

I'll need to see them without Clady before jumping to any conclusions.

Well, I'll give the Broncos this: If they manage to win the Super Bowl in a year where they lost their star CB and LB for a significant chunk of the season and their star LT for the entire season, they deserve it.

Tony Ugoh was valedictorian of the Jordan Black School of Blocking, and Peyton won a ring with him protecting his blind side. Sucks for the Broncos, but unfortunately Peyton really is just that good.

True.

However, I credit Indy's D for that SB win more than Peyton.

Does not matter.

The NFL wants Manning to stay healthy. The new LT will be allowed to hold with no fear.

I agree that the Broncos will still be the undeniable Super Bowl favorite, but this WILL slow them down. Peyton's had very good blocking by the OL so far, and that's allowed him to pick apart defenses really effectively. Without Clady, he'll get a little more pressure, which will require more quick slants and that kind of thing rather than 30-yard bombs.

Will he still be successful? I'm sure he will. But I can't imagine he's happy.
