Has anybody actually been affected by the shut down yet?

Do we have any furloughed government workers posting?

Anybody sucking a living off the government teat worried about that next welfare check rolling in?

Anybody having to rethink that scheduled trip to the Grand Canyon next week?

Let's hear about it.

I agree. They are typically underpaid in relation to an equivalent private sector position. However, the lower pay is a tradeoff for good benefits, excellent job security, and typically an easy schedule.

When you have nothing else, just resort to racist posts.

It must really piss you off that I have a college degree while you have a certificate that allows you to be a male secretary.

Problem is on the job security is events like this is what makes the job unstable these days, along with other factors as well, in terms of hiring freeze, pay freeze, etc, etc.
