Oops: MSNBC Anchor Canít Access Obamacare Exchange

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner...andrew-johnson

MSNBCís Mara Schiavocampo ran into difficulties as she tried to sign up for the newly launched health-care exchanges on Tuesday. After getting an error message on the website, she called the help line twice, but wasnít able to reach a navigator on the other end. Instead, she was put on hold for 35 minutes.

ďIf I were signing up for myself, this is where my patience would be exhausted,Ē Schiavocampo said before she gave up.

The exchanges, which went online Tuesday morning, have been riddled with technical difficulties in states across the country. The administration has said that the glitches consumers are encountering will be ironed out by Tuesday afternoon.

It's because it is so popular! Just a crowd causing some minor issues. All is well forward!

Post # 1 I'm self employed and can finally afford it. Yeah me.

#2 No subsidy - our benevolent Gov Scott Walker refused the expansion funds. Even so, looks like ill pay around $200 a month.
Sadly, my SO was denied VA health benefits because he makes too much $. Even with 4 years Air Force service.

#3You have to have car insurance, right? Because as a society, we know that without it, everyone pays for uninsured drivers. Same thing with healthcare. We're a mom/pop company, and if he falls off a roof, what then?! We would be screwed. I get that the ACA has serious flaws, like what Rick mentioned. But the basic idea is still valid - and is SETTLED LAW, even by the Supreme Court. Let's get back to business as a nation, shall we?

It becomes a pissing match from this point on

Somewhat related. I found out this week what Obamacare is going to cost me. My company announced in 2014 our premiums will be going up 6% across the board, and what they payout on claims will go down by 2%. They are also reducing what the company puts into our individual HSA's by $100 (was $1000 per family). The reason given was the 'evolving health care costs'.

Check the last 20 years. What you described is typical. Maybe even better than typical.
