I applaud the choices for Bond girls and the villain.

I saw a release date for about a year from now. Also, saw a pic of Bond's new Aston celebrating 50 years of Bond & Aston Martin

Love it! Bond returning to its roots

Apparently Waltz is playing Blofeld

Just speculation at this point. His character's name is Oberhauser.

Would it surprise me? No. Course not. But at the same time anybody could be Blofeld. Whether they go the obvious route only time will tell.

Well, there is no way you can have SPECTRE without Blofeld. So hes got to be in the movie somehow right? They might do some sort of twist with it though? Since the Austin Powers movies made him into a huge joke.

Hence anybody could be Blofeld...

Would be funny if it was Monica Bellucci.

At what point do they get a little less backstory specific? Is it after they cycle through the 'Craig' Bond?

Because these aren't Bond movies as much as they are Bond Biopics anymore. The focus is almost entirely on Bond and his background rather than the security stakes that come with his exploits.

It was interesting for quite awhile, but I think that arc seemed to have wrapped pretty well at the end of Skyfall - why did we need to go back to the 'Bonds past' well? Shouldn't there be enough international intrigue to carry the film without now having to dig into Bond's family, as is the rumor?

I think this movie will be damn good, don't get me wrong. I'm just starting to get a little bit of vulnerable Bond fatigue. Can we just have a kick ass and take names Bond movie now?
