I gotta admit -- I expected Reid to do better than this with the OL before now. But, there were plays by the OL yesterday that showed they are getting the assignments done on both sides of center. I'm beginning to lose patience with the OL situation and to me, that is on Reid.

The playcalling isn't really the problem. It's the balance and philosophy behind it all.

Reid believes in chucking it a billion times a game and continuing to throw the football in the 4 minute offense even when you're facing a defense that is getting your QB to throw below 50% on the day.

Even if Reid did change playcallers, he would still put his fingerprints all over the plan. Because he believes that's what wins you football games regardless of the your own offense's and the other defense's strengths/weaknesses. Always have, always will.

In that way he's kind of like the Romeo Crennel of offense, I suppose.

So no. Nothing would change.

Alex was way off target a lot yesterday. That's on him, but I'm not too worried. He's a game manager, and typically doesn't do shit to make you lose. I just would like to have confidence that we would score consistently, or at least burn up clock consistently with this offense. It's new, and these guys have to get better together. They are fortunate we have this defense, but Andy Reid is an offensive guy, so this low production is a little puzzling...which leads me to believe they are still getting their shit together. Hopefully they're much better by the Bye-week...

As evidenced by the 6-0 record we need to scrap it all and start from scratch, I just don't see another way.

One word, field position.

And yes, indirectly. When they scored they got the ball at the 43 and the Oakland 23. Your supposed to score when you get the ball with that field position.

Nick Foles
Mike Kafka
Kevin Kolb
Andy Hall
AJ Feeley
Giving the vastly overrated Vick a huge deal

I am just not seeing it w/ him in that regard.
AJ Feeley was a 5th round pick, and a third stringer behind McNabb and Detmer that he turned into a 2nd round pick from Miami. Kolb was a 2nd round pick that they turned in Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2nd round pick from Arizona. He also won the division with Jeff Garcia at QB. McNabb seemed to do alright as well.

The guys you are mentioning are mostly day 3 of the draft QB projects.

Fire the strength and conditioning coach and put the team trainer on notice...then get a healthy TE, or 2, on the field.

Your last sentence would not be argued by a single person here.

The bolded isn't quite right though. No doubt, the defense is doing the heavy lifting... but as a team, they all contribute to the outcome. The offense has.. not enough.. but at times, done a nice job of contributing to points and wins.

... but yes, PLEASE get better soon, offense!
