Dems proud?
Pubs disappointed ?

And the little fat **** in NJ is giving in state tuition to illegals. Next hurricane he should go to hell

Your analogy fails and the cartoon completely fails.
Our government is based on a social contract, not force or violence--unless, of course, you violate the contract. The contract is implied through birth, and subsequently through citizenship. If you don't agree, you are free to leave--or to try, through elections, to change the contract. That's it. If you don't like election results or the Constitution, again, you are free to leave.

Your Tea Party logic is what fails here. I don't suppose you remember the whole "render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar..." stuff either? Nope. Didn't think so. Jesus understood the concept of a civil society, even if you don't.

There is no such thing. I did not sign one nor agree to one. Yet, the government will not hesitate to perform violence against me if I do not abide by the rules it sets down whether those rules are moral, just, or within the prevalence which the government supposedly has authority according to its own founding document.

Contracts are explicit and have to be agreed to voluntarily through consent of both parties. Simply being born some place does not confer agreement, nor does keeping citizenship in the state you so happened to have been birthed in.

I like the Constitution just fine. I just wish those in government would actually abide by its restrictions and understand the plain language in which it was written. Now, there are some things I would change in it just to make it extra clear that the Constitution defines limits not grants powers.

I understand civil society just fine, perhaps better then you do, and I don't need the supernatural ramblings of a imaginary sky deity to tell me what is moral. It is not moral to steal, even if you steal through a third party. It is not moral to coerce, even if you coerce through a third party. Just because the majority consent or approve of such actions, does not change the morality of them.

No, sir....you'd need to be culturally "religious" to be a Pharisee; alas, I'm Lutheran instead. I can read the Word, myself, thank you.

The REPUBLICAN party has become the Modern Pharisees. Period.

Yeah...I know; even I think that sucks. Too bad, cause now...either we need a third party to REPLACE the GOP, or we will be wandering through the wilderness with arrogant Democrats for the next generation, while a "new" party emerges. Sucks either way, IMHO.
