Sanders Commings returns to practice today

Adam Teicher @adamteicher
#Chiefs DB Sanders Commings, who has been on IR all season, returned to practice today. He can be activated to roster in two weeks

I think he will be are new Free safety at the end of the season, replacing Kendrick Lewis. This D got even better with the thought of him lining up. And just in time for the Donkeys!

Why would you think that? What has he done to suggest he's going to come in and unseat a starter?

I know people like to bash on Lewis, but Lewis hasn't done anything to really cost him his job. His tackling has actually been better this season.

That is what I am predicting yes I think him and Berry would be a killer combo! But if not it never hurts to have more talent on the D. I am not saying Lewis isn't doing a good job, but lets be realistic I have heard countless people say that Lewis isn't good, and I am not here saying it is going to happen I am just giving my opinion.

Lewis is a JaG. He's not a "bad" player, fans just need a whipping boy and his lackluster tackling makes him an easy target.

And it's not jut Lewis he would have to supplant either. Pretty sure Abdullah would be next in line after Lewis and Demps has been playing well too.

I'm happy to have Commings back but projecting him into the starting lineup by the time Denver rolls around is very premature imo.

Sanders Commings participated in individual drills with the team for the first time since early September. He looked quick. #Chiefs

That's really good. I can't expect much of a contribution to this season. With so many of KC's safeties headed for URFA, Commings could really be in the running for a starting S spot next season, if he applies himself.
