Yeah, he was for it until he opposed it. Just like the John Kerry Iraq argument.

This seemed like the best thread for this.

Several simple points:

1. CBO projections are so far off it's not funny!

2. This has been a failure and farce since it began

3. The worst parts including the Cadillac tax has never been enacted, making it ever worse then it is.

No, Obamacare Enrollment Is Not Strong, Not By A Longshot

It's almost like young, healthy people realized they would be better off paying out of pocket.

From the comments:

I seriously wonder how most of the right-wingers on this forum don't get tired of being flat out lied to by conservative media propaganda on a constant ongoing basis. Do you realize it and just don't care because you think the cause is worthy in the long run? Or is your amygdyla so fired up by rage and fear you really can't see it?

And no, CNN or the NY Times is not the same thing. Not even close.
A modern liberal yukking it up about the right being lied to on an ongoing basis... priceless

CNN, NYT, and WaPo are straight garbage

yep, and it has been that way a long time. This thread is funny, like some people don't understand how all insurance works.

People with car crashes are covered by people that don't have wrecks.

People with home disasters are covered by those that don't have them.

Health care insurance needs young healthy people to help offset the fat lazy out of shape young people and us old people. Simple, it is insurance.

When you eliminate the healthy people from the revenue stream, costs are going to skyrocket.

Now, add in Government involvement/corruption and it gets even worse.

Yep. Large employer model is the best model for health insurance risk pooling and health care cost control.

It subsidizes some people's health care. So it's partially free for some. Usually, the ones most likely exempt from taxes too.
