When you think of Tea Party members you think of...

Quick poll to see what you guys think of people who identify themselves as members or supporters of the Tea Party.

I forgot to make this poll public, but consider it public because when I get a chance I'll likely change the setting in the db to do so.

OK poll is now officially public.

Yea, that would have fit in well in the poll along with the other options.

I agree the underachievers who are overpaid and rely on government backing rarely fall into this category~

Underachiever and overpaid in the same sentence....really? Guess your writing/composition teacher must have really sucked. Government backing? You must subscribe to the same bullshit "reasoning" as other rednecks who don't understand that tax-paying local citizens are the ones who pay for most of public education--not the boogey-man of that dastardly old "Gubberment!"

Poll FAIL. The last choice up there overlaps with the other two choices.

Also, in what way is this a "quick" poll?

I chose 'borderline retarded' just based on the name and premise of the group. It is not a party as in a political party, even though they use the name as if it is one. It is sort of a group that you are in simply because you say you are in it.

The name is stolen from an event associated with a cause--taxation without representation--that is not an issue. It is simply a bunch of wanna-be patriots who are actually mostly clueless about the Constitution but have convinced themselves that the country's founders were a bunch of like-minded common folks just like them.

My experience has been that it's mostly critics who use the name as if it's an actual political party.

What are deep south type teachers? Arkansas is in that? What about the bootheel, southern Illinois, Southern Indiana or Ohio? How would they be different than a teacher in lets say Kansas City?

Whether you believe the Tea Party consists of the financially concerned, the deeply conservative, the unhinged extreme, or the eternally brainwashed, none of these have any correlation with either intelligence or level of education.

Incidentally, intelligence and level of education have very little to do with each other, as well.

And you misspelled 'geniuses'.

Hit a nerve I guess. and the only way one of you dumps gets fired is if you are caught ****ing one of the kids you are teaching. The teacher's union is worthless less keeping underachievers employed~
