Pick Your Favorite Broadcasting Team

We're always bitching about bad announcers during Chiefs games.

Tim Ryan was probably the worst. But who is your favorite team? Who do you think is the most insightful, accurate, and entertaining that the NFL currently offers.

The top teams are favored, but is there someone else you like? Some teams get scrambled up. For instance, Buck is going to leave for 2 weeks and Brennaman will step in. But these are, to the best of my knowledge, the teams that regularly work together.

I always loved Mike Patrick, and Paul McGuire. everything else is bleh to me.

Kevin Harlan, and Rich Gannon would prolly be my favorite, but that's mostly because of Harlan.

I'm torn on this one between Nantz/Simms and Buck/Aikman.

I prefer Nantz on the PBP but Aikman on the commentary. I'll choose Buck/Aikman but for me it's close.

On the undercard, it's Harlan/whoever and not even close, although that's somewhat nostalgic. Nessler/Mayock are horrible, and so is Dan Dierdorf.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I liked Gus Johnson. Commentating is one of those things where if you don't do stuff or sound differently than others, nobody knows who you are. For most people they view that as a plus, yet I saw dozens of complaints when the Chiefs played on Thursday this year that Brad Nessler is a lifeless corpse whose TD calls sound as average as a 1st and 10 draw play for 3 yards. Gus rarely goofed up stats or names, he had energy, and if your team ever made big plays with him making the call, they instantly became far more memorable.

Plus, let's get real. Is going "OHHHH!" really that much worse than Dick Enberg's "Oh my!" or Marv Albert's "YUHS!"

Spero Dedes should win this in a landslide.

Alberts/Gannon is my preference. Everyone listed is a variation of a milquetoast and innoffesive theme.

Collinsworth does that best job of being honest and breaking stuff down IMO

I was always the most enertained by Tirico/McGuire/Theisman on Sunday nights though.

I like Tirico but hate Gruden.
I like Michaels but hate Collinsworth.

I would like a Tirico/Michaels duo.
