We just flushed $24 BILLION. Does the Tea Party need to write the taxpayer a check?

The minority in the house. The "Tea Party" caucus wanted to pick a fight over Obamacare. Doesn't matter if it hurts Americans, the people they are suppose to represent. Doesn't matter if we don't pay our debts for the first time in the history of the Republic, Obamacare has to go.

Well they got their way. What did they get for this fight? Do they think or you that they and their opinions have swayed the independent voter?

We had two weeks of government workers not working. We paid them not to work. We took $24 BILLION from the economy. Self inflicted wound. Who pays? Who should pay?

when $12 billion is multiplied by 52, it becomes $624 billion, which is obsurd.

If anyone should be pissed, it should be american civilians, who are being systematically purged by those splitting that $624 billion.

You're ****ing delusional and so blinded to your Democratic doctrine that you can't see why things are such a mess over Bum **** Barry Care.

The best thing to do during one of the worst recessions in US history is to bomb it's citizens and businesses with a new tax (because that's essentially what it is) and reward ~17 million illegals for breaking into the country so they can compete for jobs and lower wages instead of enforcing the law while true unemployment and underemployment is around 14%.

You baffle me. I wish I'd never read your political posts because I used to like you. You're a bought and paid for government shill.

I have a problem with the analogy because it contemplates the GOP House in the position of a thief and buys in to the "gun at the head" nonsense.

I think a better analogy is an alcoholic walks into a convenience store and wants to buy a 7 pack of beer. The store owner offers to sell them a 6 pack but refuses to break up a second 6 pack so he can sell him 7. The alcoholic threatens to get the DTs and blame it on the store owner if he doesn't get his 7 pack. OK, it's not better, but it avoids the thief association.

Nothing. He just wanted the government funded.

Your attempt to spin it any other way falls flat without an actual demand from the Obama camp.

He held out and threatened armageddon over health care funding. It's not an exact quote, but he said something like, "Fund obamacare or I'm going to **** this place up."

No he didn't.

What you are spinning now is the premise that he wouldn't sign a CR that attempts to defund Obamacare. Mainly because it would set a bad precedent to negotiate policy over government funding. We do not need, anytime the minority part can't get its way, to use government funding as a leverage tool.

OR you know, give in to the demand Republicans placed on funding the government.

Dems wants: Raise Debt ceiling, fund government.

Republicans wants: Raise Debt ceiling, fund government and all this other stuff we can't pass because we don't have the numbers.

There is only one party demanding something in exchange for funding the government.
