So when do democrats think our debt becomes a problem?

I'd really like to have someone here explain to me how the current Obama/Democrat philosophy doesn't have us on the Greece track.

Recession recovery failure.
Failure at job growth.
Energy policy doomed to fail our economy.
Obamacare increasing the debt.
All time high for people getting food stamps.

It's becoming apparent the democrats entire goal is to get as many people on government assistance as possible. We all lose.

I look forward to the day the majority of us look at the worthless pile of shit in DC as "politicians" and stop arguing over whether they have a D or R preceding their name.

Divide and conquer is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

I do too if you mean the day when none of them have a d preceding their name.

The lower middle class has slipped backwards in the last 50 years while the upper class and wealthy have made insane gains. Our tax code is the least progressive that it's been since the 20s. So your solution is to tax the lower classes more? Please explain that one.

You are so full of crap, that you need a brain enema. The only one living in a bubble would be you, since all you do is deflect, and try to blame anyone except Obummer for the debt problem that is out of control. Obummer isn't the only one to blame for this, and I never said that, but the out of control spending that has been going on for the last 50 years, is in large part due to the Democrat party. Your party has had control of the purse strings for most of the last 50 years, and where has that got us? The Dems have got so many people on government assistance, and none of them, or very few pay any taxes at all. No wonder the tax revenues are falling, but you don't see this as a problem, because it guarantees you more votes, and control of the government.

Purse strings, huh? I guess we'll put the last few years of debt on the Rs then instead of Obama.

Go ahead, and try, because in Obummers first term the Dems owned the House, and the Senate. You seem to have a very short term memory, idiot. What has happened with the budget? Obummer has sent some bad budgets to the House, and the House has turned them down, because they were all about spend, spend, spend, and very few, if any cuts. You, and your socialist parties ideas are killing this country, and you cannot see it. Like I said before, you either have blinders on, your head up your ass, or both.

Let's all agree that both Republicans and democrats have been guilty of spending even though democrats have always wanted to spend a lot more on everything (except defense).

And let's all agree that govt spending is beneficial, and perhaps necessary for a strong economy, and WHAT it is spent on is more important. For example, launching ridiculous invasions of nuisance countries while at the same time cutting taxes for the wealthy is never going to be a winning plan.

Your first sentence seems to contradict itself. Initially you seem to be saying unequivocally that government spending is good (it's not) and then you say it depends on what the spending is for (it does). I would agree that government spending CAN be good depending on WHAT you spend it on and HOW MUCH you spend. But democrats haven't impressed me with their choices. Republicans have wasted money too, but again, not as often nor as much.

Yeah, for two years coming out of the Bush Depression and when we were still under Bush's budget for his 1st year. It's been an R House under Obama longer than it was a D House.

Hey, remember this post?:

I'm not saying unequivocally--I said clearly WHAT it is spent on is important. Starting a (dumb) war coupled with a tax CUT (for the wealthy) is stupid, and we can clearly see the results.

I think it would have been dumb to turn the other cheek again after 9/11. Every time we turned the other cheek prior to that, the attacks escalated. It was time to use all the levers of our power. It still is.
