Obama finally blames Repubs for Obamacare woes

PRESIDENT OBAMA: The last point I'll make is that in terms of expectation setting, there's no doubt that in an environment in which we had to fight tooth and nail to get this passed, it ended up being passed on a partisan basis -- not for lack of trying, because I met with an awful lot of Republicans to try to get them to go along -- but because there was just ideological resistance to the idea of dealing with the uninsured and people with preexisting conditions. There was a price to that, and it was that what was already going to be hard was operating within a very difficult political environment. And we should have anticipated that that would create a rockier rollout than if Democrats and Republicans were both invested in success.

One of the problems we've had is one side of Capitol Hill is invested in failure, and that makes, I think, the kind of iterative process of fixing glitches as they come up and fine-tuning the law more challenging. But I'm optimistic that we can get it fixed.

The headline alludes that he is trying to fix it...but repubs are making it difficult.

So...he is blaming them for the lack of a fix too.

If I recall Obama, Pelosi and Reid as well as many Democrats had a meeting with the Republicans on the Healthcare bill when they were trying to pass it.

They never listened to their ideas and shunned them, it was a joke.

Barry had 3 years with a super majority. All really Barry & the Marxist Dems cared about was just getting pen to paper and into law. Worry about the details later, however, this approach is coming back to bite them

This is terrifying news to liberals. If a minority party can thwart big government, then there was no point even voting Democrat all these years.

I have a feeling that as reality sinks in that his everloving base runs away, his political base will crumble, Pelosi will lose control of a fractured house and Reid will lose enough dems that Barry and his crew will become very unpredictable and mean. They will not go down gracefully. Chicago will be the norm. There will be damage among the ranks that will take years to repair.

And when all that's come to pass, the Republicans will pass another fascist bill to replace it.
