Obama says ObamaCare will save you 2500 skins

You will save on average 2500 buckos per household or person or something....

So why do Obots keep saying no one ever said it?

The claim in the OP:

"You will save on average 2500 buckos per household or person or something...."

Clearly, Obama said "up to" which is not the same as "will save 2500" and even further away from "2500 on average" which means some would save even more than the 2500.

Sorry.
It also indicates that you can save nothing or pay more. In other words its a bunch of empty talk, because Obama has no idea what will happen to you.

I think in this case party shills are supposed to consult the lexicon.

Funny & true

Perspectives.... A doctor from France says:"In France , the medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man's testicles; we put them into another man, and in 6 weeks he is looking for work." A German doctor comments quietly : "That's nothing, in Germany we take part of the brain out of a person; we put it into another person head, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work." A Russian doctor says boasting :"That's nothing either. In Russia we take out half of the heart from a person; we put it into another person's chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for work." The U.S. doctor laughs and answers loudly immediately: "That's nothing my colleagues, you are way behind us....in the USA , about 5 years ago, we grabbed a person from Kenya with no brains, no heart, and no balls....we made him President of the United States, and now....... the whole damn country is looking for work

As a rational person, I've always looked at most campaign "promises" as intentions, or as a promise to pursue it. There's few things a president can directly control, especially the further you want to drill down into details.

Common sense should tell you a candidate still has to deal with Congress. A candidate can no more legitimately "promise" a piece of legislation will become law than I can--it's not within his direct power to make it happen. He can do his best to try though.

And yes, I'd apply that standard to a candidate of any party. You guys are exercising the mentality of a child. Under your standard, if 99% of what a candidate "promised" made it into the a final law, you would consider that a "lie" or "broken promise."

Anyone boasting about being rational, well, is usually not. Otherwise, they'd have no need to say that.

Also, I the clip at :25, he says "I have a plan that saves..." So in May 2008, his plan was _______. No "promise" terminology, so that childish argument is moot.

Yes, of course. The president was elected along with democrat control of the House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate so naturally he can't be held accountable for his mere campaign promises because he actually doesn't have much that he can control. Makes perfect sense.

Your spin has taken on the properties of an auger. It's time to stop digging and just admit defeat on this one.
