Tea Party or Obama? Tie game

Remember those leftist fools who said the Tea Party is killing the GOP and should be jettisoned?

42% Identify with Obama Politically, 42% with the Tea Party
Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Voters are evenly divided when asked whether they agree more politically with President Obama or with the average member of the Tea Party. But an enormous partisan gap colors virtually all opinions of the Tea Party.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters think the presidentís views are closest to their own when it comes to the major issues facing the country. But just as many (42%) say their views come closest to those of the average Tea Party member instead. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of Republicans think the Tea Party is good for the country, but 72% of Democrats see it as a bad thing. Among unaffiliated voters, 42% say itís good for the country, 37% say bad.

1) Dont lie to people and get caught
2) People vote their pocketbook
3) All politics are local

Dont count your votes before the votes are cast.

Just curious why?

I do know it really started with Ron Paul's crowd many of who were libertarian but not all of them. It got hijacked by many in the GOP though. Like Freedom Works. They just want to repeal Obamacare and "replace" it which will be another kind of corporatism with mandates that lead to rising costs. Already, many GOP'ers think no more pre-existing conditions is a good thing....but that pushes the demand curve too.

I would imagine they think that way more so because they like the idea of alternative/new options, rather than liking the Tea specifically. But I'd need Cosmo or Race Card Retard to explain it correctly
